Hello there, why there aren't more famous European Routes built for this sim after all these years? For example why can't we see routes like: 1. Paris - Lyon - (high speed TGV train) 2. Lyon - Nice (high speed TGV train) 3. Milan to Venice (high speed Frecciarossa 1000 train) 4. Firenze to Rome (high speed Frecciarossa 1000 train) 5. Zurich - Milan 6. Brussels - Paris 7. Nice - Genoa ( French Riviera with Monaco Monte-Carlo and Italian Riviera) 8. Madrid - to Paris (AVE High Speed) .................just to name a few! Now we wouldn't need, necessarily, the train like the Frecciarossa 1000 but at least new fun routes. Why it's always England and Germany with a touch of Swiss? Okay the TGV line Marseille - Avignon the one and only French.... short.... and monotonous. I am sure with Google Maps and a good 3D editor it shouldn't be a problem in creating new more famous and interesting routes. Please I hope you consider my suggestions. Thank you in advance!
Brussels to Paris would be nice imo! Gives opertunities for Eurostar and Thayls! (Which are all the one brand now.) Please provide more detail in future but i like the basic principle of the route.
Thank you ! My point is that it is lovely to have good and lots of British Routes but this is a product for everyone and not everyone lives in UK. Hopefully with the new world pc editor we can start building our own.
You can actually build your own thing using the editor. You just can't make money off because of the eula or cook content at the moment
General question, DTG Alex would you be able to help answer at all? Would it be now any easier acquiring the Thayls/Eurostar Licence now they are part of the one brand? Old Eurostar being "Eurostar Blue Trains" and Thayls being "Eurostar Red Trains" apparently. Just curious. Could open up potential for new routes if it's easier.
Not a fan of dedicated high speed routes, but would certainly love to see more European routes, especially in countries we haven't seen (or have barely seen) in TSW so far.
I prefer lines that have high speed sections... what DTG hasnt given us yet is stuff like regular kms - some highspeed section - one more regular section - one more highspeed section...
I would also propose the Brennero line from Innsbruk to Brennero on the border with Italy. I don't think there are licensing problems here since they made it for train simulator classic using the OBB license and creating a FS E412 (Trenitalia) locomotive for freight service. It should be remembered that this line is also used by Eurocity which starts from Monaco and arrives in Venice/Bologna. This railway line also has a wonderful panorama being built between the Alps. Some views about the Brenner's station Innsbruk Station:
Koralm Bahn is also interesting - I believe first half of it is already operational, with the rest coming till like 2030
another line that I would propose and which has already been published on Train Simulator Classic is Frankfurt high-speed: Frankfurt – Karlsruhe. in Train Sim Word it can be a great line since there aren't many high speed scenarios, if I'm not mistaken the only one should be Munich-Ausburg. Frankfurt high-speed: Frankfurt – Karlsruhe can be interesting given that it is one of the main Rhine lines, in terms of quantity of goods and passengers moved daily.
Prague-Kolín would be a good route for tsw 4 since it's not that long Here are photos of Prague main station: And here are also photos of kolín station: And the trains I think could be in that route: EJ 471 Škoda 7Ev ES 499.1 And the cargo version if ES 499.1
