This was supposed to have been fixed. To have 41/40 no trespassing signs means it obviously hasn’t been. How hard is it for DTG to count?
There are plenty of routes that have more collectibles in a given type than are needed to have them count as being completed. It comes across to me as being intentional (in GTA 5 you do not need to complete everything to get 100% for example), but I have no proof of this.
gonna disagree on the basis they state the number their is, it definitely seems to be more of an error or oversight. If you only had to collect a certain amount the number counting up would cap at that amount not exceed and become mathematically incorrect.
I highly doubt it is intentional. After all, is it really a collectible if you don't have to collect all of them?
It depends. If it is intentional, the idea that would likely be the reason for it is that somebody who might struggle with finding all of them will still be able to say they've completed it, and the rest would effectively be bonuses. That's pretty much the reason in the GTA 5 example I gave before, it's a massive game and doing everything might be quite difficult - unlike with TSW, that does come across as more intentional than unintentional.
