Swansea To London Paddington

Hello TSW4 players,

I have avoided Great Western Express due to it stopping at Reading, ideally I would have liked to see it go at least as far as Bristol Temple Meads.

Today I watch a TSW4 video on YouTube that seem to use a Great Western Express route and included both Swansea to London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington as part of a number of routes.

I search a little and found another YouTube video also Swansea to London Paddington, although in the second video I didn't see Great Western Express as the route was already set and the player was loading and driving.

I then come to these forums, searching for any reference of a change but only found a number of suggestions requesting such a change.

Both YouTube videos are very recent (10 days ago and 1 day ago at time of posting this), if anyone knows of a change to Great Western Express or some other reason, please share, I would really like to know.

This would be appropriate in the suggestions section. Dtg have said they aren't going to touch or extend the current gwe because of how old it is and requires a significant amount of rebuilding. I think the only way we could see an extension if a brand new gwe set in modern day gets created which is also not planned since it's not on the roadmap

 

Enough with this "if it's not on the roadmap". Even things that are on the roadmap never come.

This wasn't posted as a suggestion, it was a question about those YouTube videos.
Especially the 2nd video where the user select Great Wester Express and then has routes including Swansea and Bristol to Paddington.

The original post was a question on how is that possible?
But leave it in suggestions if that is deemed more appropriate.

 

The service is from Swansea to London Paddington but the bit driven in the game is only from Reading to London Paddington because that is all there is depicted in the route in TSW. They are based on real life services that go further than Reading but that’s as far as the route goes in the game. Watching the videos carefully will show you this.

I am not interested in this route however I can understand why you are. There are no Welsh routes in the game so it may be a route that would be popular.
