IMG_1977.jpeg IMG_1976.jpeg IMG_1982.jpeg IMG_1977.jpeg There should be a greater Anglia service set back in early 2017 running from London Liverpool Street to Colchester town, Colchester and Southend Victoria via Romford using the greater Anglia class 321 and there should be a slow service running along side the GEML. London Liverpool Street to shenfield calling at all stations using the TFL Rail class 315

Cool route I suppose, fairly long enough for DTG to add, however I think it should also go to Braintree, Sudbury, Clacton-on-sea and Walton on the Naze (maybe to Ipswich also?)

It does luckily lay the foundations for an Elizabeth line service which is good enough for me

I forgot to add as well that dovetail games should bring greater Anglia class 360 along with the class 321

Instead of the 321 we should have the 90 with it's coaching stock or the 745.

For the route it should go to Ipswich instead of Colchester as that's where the 321s normally terminate also allows for the potential for the mayflower line up to Harwich international

Having the route to Ipswich would make it too long (given that this suggestion also adds the Southend branch), and therefore less likely to appear.

The route to Ipswich would not make it too long,it is only 68 miles and is definitely doable And the Southend branch would most likely not be added, small branchlines like the Sudbury or Braintree ones are most likely to be added

Like I said it is doable we have Ecml which is 79 miles and we have had other routes that have a massive concentration of stations so it is definitely possible and I don't know what point your trying to make

The suggestion being proposed is Liverpool Street to Colchester and the Southend branch.

Extending the suggestion to also include Ispwich is too long.

No,it really isn't think of Southeastern highspeed, that is two different lines in one with a total length of around 90 miles,if the GEML was made I bet you now the Southend branch would not be included as their are more favourable branches like the clacton branch.the stretch between Colchester and Ipswich is roughly 18.5 miles not long at all,id say the southend victoria branch idea to be scrapped and replaced with shorter but more branches along essex

Look, at this point you'll be lucky if it goes as far as Shenfield, never mind Colchester or Ipswich.

Course if could be made it would go past Shenfield unless the Elizabeth line is the main operator

Hopefully the Elizabeth Line doesn't come as the main attraction, as it is more suited as a DLC.

It would be better to have the 321 as a future dlc as the 90 was the main star of the GEML it would only make sense to

The Class 321 operated local service, the 90 was more of an express.

I would love this route. It would be
simpler for Dovetail as they use trains similar to the 710's

They need the ga license which they can't get so it would most likely be set in the national express east anglia days

That's not bad tbh, makes it good for a heavy commuter Route then. Personally by the sound of it it would seem enjoyable

Why not Stratford to Ipswich, that way you’d get the mix of passenger and freight along the whole route without the need to model a large terminus at Liverpool Street, plus it knocks a few miles off. Regular fast services call at Stratford, plus stopping services from LST to east Anglia so could be a good end point. If set in the NXEA era the 150 could also be included at Ipswich & Marks Tey for a bit more variation too along with the 90, 321, 360 etc. GEML would be a definite for me which ever part of the route. 2010s would be a great era, or slightly earlier for the 86s in place of 90s and 312s along side the 321s!

They are also usually the routes that come with the base game and have limited stations.

Love the idea as I drive the TSC version regularly, but you're looking at a Pre-Greater Anglia era for the GEML if it's released at all as DTG weren't able to secure a licence with Greater Anglia. That could include 321s, 360s, Class 86s or Class 90s. It could even go back to pre-NSE days and have slamdoors and Class 47s on the Norwich trips. I think C2C or even Crossrail are more likely to be honest.

I would love this route. It shares the tracks st certain points with the Elizabeth and C2C so that would be great for Scenario planner. It also stops at the renowned mainline station, London Liverpool Street

Another 47 hauled era route is one too many in my opinion, 90s or 86s would give some much needed variation and greater options with scenario planner, livery designer and free roam. Perhaps I’m clutching at straws!

I tend to agree, while I would welcome a selection of services for existing locos in the timetable, I think everyone would be delighted with a Class 86 or 90 with air con MK 2s.

It's probably too much for one release but GEML with a 315 (an updated 314 with the additional coach would do) 312 slam door, 321 and an 86 would be a brilliant DLC.

Seconded, an excellent suggestion for a new route, lots of operational possibilities and a good line length. A busy Liverpool Street is an attractive in game proposition.

I hope dovetails games add it because I’ve always wanted to drive the greater Anglia class 321 and 360 and I can imagine what Stratford , London Liverpool Street and Romford would look like on TSW4

Yes. All I will say is BLOODY HELL YES!!!!!!

The GEML Liv Street-Shenfield slow section is my local route (Goodmayes!!!!!) And I have long been waiting to see this route included.

My only remark is that at 1 point, Greater Anglia did operate the whole line before TFL took it over, so if we're including services to Colchester etc, it would make sense to put the line under one operator and set the line back when Anglia were running things, therefore having the 315's in GA livery rather then TFL Rail

Greater Anglia era is unlikely due to DTG not having a licence for their branding.
If we see the GEML in the near future it's most likely to be either Network South East or the post-privatisation era up to 2012 when GA took over.

I doubt they'd leave it with one item of traction, there's nothing in the TSW traction library that can layer on to it. If they did London to Southend Vic, for example, I reckon you'd get at least a 315 and 321. But I'd prefer the 100mph mainline over the Southend Vic branch.

I hope they can get the license. It would be a relatively good additional mod for a game or even a good idea for the base game of TSW5
