Feature Suggestion: Weight Of Train

I’m not sure if this would come under a ‘Feature’ or ‘Accessibility’ but particularly for the American freight routes, I think including the total weight in the service description would be a welcome addition.

It would help us to easily distinguish the heavier loads from the less heavier loads, and make it easier and quicker for us if we wanted to specifically drive the heavier runs

 

They do have the weight in the overview section of the pause menu.

But by then you've already loaded it up so I can see having it in the service description handy.

 

If you pause the sim on the page that pops up on the left it has your trains weight, car numbers and length etc.

 

To add to this, it'd be handy to have any information such as length and weight in the service description. I hate starting a service which departs after 2 minutes, yet you have to uncouple first

 

Correct me if i am wrong but when a scenario starts the pop up does show you that information already ???

Exactly as mentioned by others - while it does state the total weight and length when you load up a service, it would be great to have it beforehand in the description so you are not constantly loading and backing out of services to find what you are looking for

 

This would be useful if US trains weren't all the same copy and paste consist on every timetable service.
