Hello, my plan is to build the route between Lübeck Hbf and Lübeck-Travemünde. It's a small route of roundabout 20km, so for me it's just more to get into editing routes. I'm an absolute beginner so please don't wonder. Right now I'm trying my best with the LIDAR data, which needs time if you're new. If somebody with more experience has tips, I'm always grateful. There is also freight transportation on this route to Lübeck-Skandinavienkai (Harbour), which I'd also try to rebuild, and could be very interesting.
Getting LIDAR for Lübeck is Very hard, There is a Portal for Terrain Data but those Files are Locked and cannot be used. For Correct LIDAR Data that would work, you will need to Fill out a form and send that to The Government. it will take a long time till you receive data or anything in that direction
What im Trying To Say here is, if you Download the LIDAR from the Schleswig Holstein Vermessungsdienstleistungs-Site you cannot use that. if you try to import the Data its just Pitch Black and Says "Selected Data Contains Encrypted Files" which means that the Data is locked by the Government. So it is Free to Download but Surely not free to use. I filled out a Form and sended it to the Regional Government and after 4 Months they sended me an E-Mail that contained LIDAR that worked.
