So, TSW3 was on sale for £5.99 last week on Steam. I just went to check the store page again and it has been delisted, so I guess I was lucky to grab it when I did. Funny thing is that TSW2 is still available to buy on Steam, so it's weird that only TSW3 is delisted. [WILD SPECULATION TIME] Maybe DTG are going to remaster one of the TSW3 routes, and want to make sure people buy it at full price on release? Southeast High Speed, Cajon Pass or Kassel-Wurzburg TSW4 or TSW5 remaster coming soon? EDIT: Cajon Pass, not Sand Patch Grade.
TSW2/3 were previously delisted everywhere and mysteriously showed back up a couple of months ago. Maybe they were just looking to scrape the bottom of the barrel wherever they could akin to shaking out the sofa for any cash they could find to meet year end fiscal nonsense. Now that that's passed, they can safely be removed again.
There isn’t much you can do with KWG and southeastern has already has a pretty big upgrade and I’m not sure what else you could add to Cajon. It’s unlikely any of them will get anything close to a remaster
-Extend the route on UPs Palmdale Cutoff to West Colton. -Extend the BNSF mainline to Daggett, then add UP line to Yermo. -Add the branchline from Victorville to White Rock Mountain -Fix the terrible scenery -Add playable UP traffic -Add Amtrak Long Distance equipment. There is also a branch that extends off at Hesperia, but that line is too slow and too long for TSW.
