Hi, I’m having issues with loading anything in connection with the new remastered WSR route! I have updated my TSW4 game and verified the files successfully, and restarted the game. Sadly, every time I try to load any kind of scenario, be it in timetable, scenarios or free roam; if and when it gets through the initial loading process, all I get is a blue sky with clouds, an horizon and everything else is blurred and pale blue; but I do have sounds of birds and background noise!! What am I or have I missed or done wrong? All of my other TSW4 routes are working fine ! Can anyone offer any help to get my WSR route to work please? Thanks in advance, ChessieT
Hi Mike, To be honest I don’t think so, but it’s not impossible I suppose! What sort of mods should I look for , and for that matter, where? Actually, come to think of it I do have a platform signage mod, would that cause the problem perhaps? ChessieT

I had no trouble getting it. I clicked into timetable and then clicked on WSR2023 in the right-hand window (the old one was on the left) on my PS5. Took me right in. The new WSR looks beautiful, by the way.
Oh, I see! So maybe I’d better remove all of the older mods and reintroduce them one at a time in order to eliminate the incompatible ones! Thanks for the advice. ChessieT
any luck finding the culprit mod? I have same problem and only picked ones that said they were TSW4 so not even got that many

This is why I keep giving up on mods! Love the improvements, but hate the hassles each new core release etc.
Hi drfish, Sorry I’ve not had any chance this week to go anywhere near TSW4, so haven’t looked at this problem since! I’ll copy what you’ve done and see how it works for me! I’ll report back on my findings! All the best for now, ChessieT
Ok then, here’s what I’ve done. I found that I had 4 WSR locomotive sound mods that weren’t compatible; I deleted these from the Mods folder and opened the TSW4 application via steam, this prompted steam to install and verify the new version of the WestSomerset Railway route (remastered version). I think it’s important to note that this update didn’t happen the first time I loaded TSW4. So, it suggests that these mods were indeed the culprit! I’ve just run up the line from Bishops Lydeard with Flying Scotsman, what a fantastic route, glad it’s had a makeover! ChessieT
