I came across this the other day when looking for something else http://treinpunt.treinenwereld.eu/RW/ It seems to have a lot of stuff collected from a number of different sources including UKTS. There is no information as to what the file includes or the requirements Some of it is quite old but those near the bottom of the list are from 2019 Note that *.rar files have a Question Mark before them as the don't have a graphic for them Peter
Just used it today, in fact. Was looking up a route I had just installed. Found via the link 749006 posted above, in fact. Apparently this is based on the topography of a part of the UK but is otherwise a fictional route.
kool ,i've found some routes don't load the map,any ideas why this might be? i emailed the website person, nothing back yet. https://www.10a.ch/en/rwinfo..
Missing link(045911.... West Coast Mainline-Midlands and North West OTS Cumbrian Coast and Furness Railway(411558...) Breckland Line- Norwich to Cambridge(8a44f..) Some maps load quicker than others? How does program generate the route map and info? it seems to read track properties, then ribbons.
RWinfo hasn't worked on my Cambridgeshire & the ECML route for several years - but then mine is a 3-way merge so I'm not entirely surprised.
https://alanthomsonsim.com/download...-wales-coastal_heart-of-wales_-welsh-marches/ Heart of Wales line. Tried the section from the south, (don't ask me to spell that name!) Swansea via Llanelli. Trackwork is a bit janky and has some floating assets here and there but a welcome addition nonetheless.
I see it mentions an updated Assets file. Do we have to download a second time for that or does the main route now include that?
Permission issues and a lack of willingness to accept help rectifying said issues, sadly the ATS team was left with little other option but to remove all the users uploaded content.
I also managed to download this one. I consider myself lucky I didn't wait and quickly went downloading it. I will have to give it a try sometime, and it's now planned.
https://rmrailworks.site/ new website which was mentioned on here and fits in this thread nicely. Thanks maxtedrw
Oh, that's brilliant, I've been looking for a couple of your assets for nearly 6 months, Richard, many thanks in designing your own website and keeping your creations preserved. Cheerz. Steve.
No problem - it is a site that I am hoping to expand - busy building new assets that will replace some of the UKTS older assets in my Leek & Manifold route. Getting tractor drawings for 1960's tractors is really hard !!! I have a love of older Ford tractors but can't seem to get a plan anywhere that gives me sizes.
With the announcement of Reppo's AEM-7, it had me wondering where I might find any content that involves some of his other stuff, or just a good repository for Northeast Corridor scenarios in general. I'd love to see a scenario that involves stuff like the E60 and M2s, etc.
Perhaps this site may be useful? https://www.the-blueprints.com/vectordrawings/show/22400/ford_tractor/
Nothing new, but DPSimulation website now has a Google Consent statement and heavy advertising, including a Google Viginette Ad which you have to respond to continue
Also worth noting the site is not updated. It still advertises Train Sim World 2. Which begs the question as to whether any work is still done on the site given we're now at version 4.
DPSimulation site hasn't been updated for a good few years now and this might have been resulted in Google stepping in to maintain that site. Thanks for the advice, I'll need to try Ad Block at some point, and this would be the tool in the near future as more websites will have Google Vendors and Ads in the near future, including Google Vignette Ads (Zrt_lookup_fy2021(1)).
Hmm. I wonder if the owner can simply update the site and have Google's intrusions eliminated from it. I use an adblocker myself. After the Forbes incident and seeing how bad some other sites are without ads, it's a necessity.
Hi everyone. I am in the search of Polish PKP trains. Especially the diesel locomotives like the SU46 locomotive in the PKP Cargo blue and the two tone green. I have tried Google search and the only ones I have found are for Trainz and a mod for Transport Fever 2. Sadly Google isn't my friend for TSC mods for Poland. Also I don't speak Polish either so I am limited but I would love to try their routes and trains.
The only PKP items I have come across for TSC are repaints for different locos in to PKP colours BR189 & Taurus, PKP IC and local coaches.
Just found these ,some great variety https://www.southwestscenarios.com , https://lordbickerstaffscenarios.weebly.com/ , https://anakhastscscenarios.com/, https://railworks.freeforums.net/
I have the entire Lord Bickerstaff set sorted if anyone wants it in more convenient form. Thanks also for Anakha’s, I recognize them from UKTS where they were posted up until closure, What is the last? If dictating login, not sure it is worth the time.
https://www.mproutes.co.uk/routes Mathew Powell routes, including Shrewsbury-Llanelli-Swansea-Bristol. Which has more faults than an Austin Allegro. I am no route builder but i have tried for a good few hours to fix a welded junction at the eastern end of Stormy Down loop, up direction. Not to mention the up\down track properties on the up line between Swansea and Port Talbot, set to the down direction which was easy enough to fix.
He's always rushed his work out as if the release date is more important than thorough testing and snag fixing, It's a shame because his routes the cambrian coast and the heart of Wales line had the potential to be very good if he'd just taken more time and care with them. I tried fixing the Cambrian line but you never escape the overall rushed feel and look of it, shame really, and I was hoping as the heart of Wales line was his latest project that he'd have learnt from his previous mistakes, unfortunately it doesn't seem he did and I ran it only once and promised myself that I wouldn't go down the rabbit hole of trying to fix that too, so didn't bother reinstalling either on my last clean install.
Ah, that's where the Heart of Wales Line went to. Was posted at ATS and removed within a day. Why was it removed, exactly? I happened along the announcement here and actually downloaded it at ATS.
It was removed from ATS (along with the Cambrian Coast) because he included 3rd party assets in the download that he didn't have permission to share, he was asked repeatedly to gain said permissions and to credit the authors if permissions were granted but ignored multiple requests by the ATS team, in the end ATS was left with no other option but to remove all of Mathew's content.
Interesting. That explains what happened to them, then. First time I've seen the routes on any other site since.
So this is on e of the routes? ooookay, as german would say: not the yellow from the egg. One point I noticed: no smoothed out gradients
