If you don’t ask, you don’t get… Then again if you do ask, you probably won’t get either.

However the point is, many of the existing routes (literally) have extra mileage in them were DTG to apply a bit of three dimensional thinking to the situation.

Missed opportunities seems to be the way of things. If only a tiny bit more ambition were to be applied when creating routes. The same applies to the included rolling stock and dlcs for the same.

But why should DTG be more ambitious? At the end of the day, people vote with their wallets and they vote "This is good enough".

Not me for several releases now.
Passed on NYC to Trenton, Edinburgh to Glasgow, Bernina and Maintalbahn. Not even the very low key Festival Of Rails discounts could tempt me. In fact this months gaming spend has gone on a loco pack for Run 8 and the Hamburg U1 for TSC. Next month eyeing the sequel to The Golf Club 2 which at present is an eye watering £45 but hopefully gets a discount at Easter. There’s also the Snowrunner sequel to consider and when it actually drops the freight pack DLC for SimRail. So this year DTG and their cohorts are going to need to produce exceptional results for me to put any money in the direction of TSW.

Well, by not being more ambitious, they seem to be losing customers from the many posts I see here.

A lot of people on these forums aren't wanting short routes with one loco, which happens most of the time.

They could at least bring these to current standards, even if they don't add anything new.

LIRR with some added branches, the mainline extended to Ronkonkoma, TOD 4 and a EMD DE30AC loco DLC would be amazing.

UP runs the larger road power to at least South San Francisco for the Dirty Dirt trains.

However, it seems like in modern times the SD59MXs that run a local in the area take those cars now to I'm assuming Oakland.
