    Good afternoon all,

Just wanted to report that the TEA wagons brake force is well and truly broken sadly. This is present in both scenarios and timetable mode. I've tested the wagons in both PASS and GOODS mode, and the brakes do not actually kick in anywhere near their real life counterparts.

For example 50mph through Southall on the 6V70 scenario, brakes are configured to GOODS mode by the devs, I sign this route in real life, and have driven these wagons using a Class 66 a few times so know when I should be braking etc. So applied initial brake application as passing through Southall, which is where I'd normally start to slow myself down for crossing over at West Drayton, I went through Hayes & Harlington still doing 45mph, placed the brakes to full service and still went sailing through the protecting signal at 10mph. Not good considering full service should stop on a 2p piece with these TEA's.

Loaded in to timetable mode, set them up in PASS mode, braking a little better, however no brake application until you reach 4 bar of pressure, and then it's so severe that you grind to a halt.

Please let me know if you need anything further. Playing on Xbox Series X and PC and getting the same results.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm happy to report this has been addressed and circulated with beta testers who are reporting things much improved. We are talking with DTG about when this can be released to players.

No. I didn't expect anything related to Petroleum would be updated in this patch.

Once it's confirmed that the brake force issue is sorted with the tankers I'm adding this to the collection.

I did think almost £10 was abit overpriced but when you realise the quality of the product it’s actually worth it.

So I would like to Congratulate Skyhook on the only working Class 66 that you get the right amount of points for turning the safety systems on.

Also the fact of the freight Timing is already on when this is a freight loco nice touch.

So if you would like those platinum medals NOW!! for the Class 66 Scenarios and Timetables This is a must have.

I just got this today the brakes seem to work fine for me No Complaints here. They actually seem to release quicker than the base game 66’s

Just to show you guys here is A class 66 run showing points in the Safety System Section
(Only works on The Cargo Lines Class 66 I tested the rest to see if it had been fixed and it hasn’t)

It’s so good to be able to haul freight and get Top points This Run was aggregates on Great Western Express as DTG Have done a great job bringing it up into TSW4 and allowing Platinum medals to be acquired.

one thing that is disappointing about this pack is the lack of not seeing the Green TEA wagons, also on GWE not seeing the blue ones as commonly its the red ones, and with MML, commonly seeing blue where their could be say like just red on that service

Been enjoying the new services and scenarios on this pack and the Vol2 pack - unfortunately when playing through the Rail Journey for Vol1 (GWE - Petroleum) every time I try to start the following services, I spawn on foot in a random station (first Twyford, then Hanwell, then Burnham) and there's no train to be seen.

6V19 Grain Oil Terminal - Colnbrook Logistics (Petroleum)
6O41 Colnbrook Logistics - Grain Oil Terminal (Petroleum)

    edit: added additional service

One thing I am highly disappointed about the Cargo line Vol 1 was the lack of variety of each of the two routes. On The GWE for example, the TEA wagons are red. What would have made the pack better would have been the uses of a different colour selection e.g. the green ones. I also don't like how only one type of color which is red on the GWE is commonly use. My request to Skyhook is perhaps bring the Green, the Blue and the red into each route as it would genuinely be better and realistic. And to also add to that, I don't see the Green Wagons which is a shame, but again maybe that might be something for the future.

    Hiya
    Thanks for the continued feedback.
-More variety in the tanker colours used on GWE please
In a recent update to GWE we have in fact introduced more variety on the TEA services so that the red ones are in use as well. The services (and by extension the colours of the tankers) implemented into TSW are intended to represent specific commodity flows and thus only certain colour tankers are used. This is the same as seen with the different HOA wagons being employed on different flows around the UK as represented in the Aggregates pack.
Additionally, DTG are currently completing tests of our Formation Designer update for Vol.1 and 2 so that players can build their own trains to enjoy on their favourite routes.

    -Missing Vol.1 services on GWE
DTG are currently completing tests of a fix for this. Why they went missing when the Aggregates pack was released in a mystery, but a fix will be issued shortly to bring them back.

    -Vol.1 Brake improvements
While we were fully under the impression the improved brakes for the Vol.1 TEA tankers had been released back in January, I have seen activity with recent test completions that this update may only now in fact be entering wide circulation.

I recently purchased the Cargo Pack Bundle (which includes both the Petroleum and Aggregates packs), but in-game, the service layers that are supposed to come with these add-ons are still showing up as greyed out—almost as if I don’t own them.

I’ve double-checked that the content is fully installed and verified through my platform (Steam), and I've also restarted the game multiple times. Still, the layers are unavailable across routes that are supposed to support them (like Edinburgh–Glasgow, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a workaround or fix for getting the layers to activate properly? I'd appreciate any help or clarification—maybe I'm missing a step somewhere?

    Hiya,
For the Edinburgh to Glasgow line, the Petroleum layer in the sprinter timetable is 'unrealised'. It was intended to implement traffic crossing the line near Castlecary-Allendale, but for an unknown reason it just would not work. The implementation was left in place but deactivated in case it could be made to work at a later date. It's not much of a loss though as you'd have to be passing the exact point at the time a tanker train ran overhead in order to see them. They were not player services.

With regard to the Railhead Treatment Train, this requires the RHTT Add-On which is not part of the Cargo Line series.

Its worth noting that the Cargo Line series is becoming increasingly popular with route developers referencing them across existing and new modern UK routes. The Petroleum pack alone appears in the following routes:
ECML Peterborough-Doncaster (Implemented by Cargo Line Vol.4)
    Great Western Express
    London Overground Suffragette Line
    Midland Main Line
    WCML Euston-Milton Keynes
A couple of in development/unannounced routes as well :)
