The next DLC for Train Simulator Classic is Israel Railways' 1st & old GEC-Alsthom Push-pull trains These trains were introduced in 1996-1997 and left Israel Railways' service in 2022. Please review this as a possible future DLC and consider bringing this rolling stock to Train Simulator Classic so I can drive it around the virtual globe.
I realise English might not be your first language, so you may not appreciate how "And I need an answer please" would, in conversation, come across as terse and demanding. But even if DTG were about to make this route they wouldn't answer your specific query, we find out if "Suggestions" become a reality when a route is announced. The Middle East is not an area that DTG have shown any interest in, they stick to European countries and the USA so I would say there's less than a 1% chance of Israeli content in Train Simulator or TSW.
Well...yes, quite. I was trying to keep politics and war out of it but railways, politics and war have intertwined histories. Hopefully all civilians in that region, regardless of their beliefs and politics, will soon be able to enjoy the peace and freedoms most of us take for granted. It's probably best left on that positive note.
Think this suggestion, couched in a similar vein, turned up in the TSW forum a while back and got the same response. If you delve into the history of the area there were many fascinating railways in that part of the world, probably quite scenic too like the lines around Nablus or even Lod to Jerusalem up the canyon. But no payware developer is going to chance their arm in such a politically hot and controversial part of the world. Even freeware authors likely to baulked at it, even if you disguise with fictional names as the geographic coordinates still visible for all to see and put someone’s nose out of joint.
I think that these trains are beautiful but it's not coming to Train Simulator Classic so please bring it into the game so I can drive it around the virtual globe, DTG!
DTG doesn't even develop normal stuff anymore, only updating the core atm, you are best to find a 3rd party dev to do it instead.
I wonder when the core for TSC will be fully up to date? Hopefully DTG resumes developing DLC for TSC when the core is fully updated
