Whats going on with LIRR and is it ture that you wont be doing anymore subway routes? there are a few that are 90% outside here in NYC alone.

 

Can we have some sort of update on Suspension improvements please? It was in 0-3 months column of the roadmap and now it has been put in to release date to be confirmed. This feature was supposed to arrive shortly after release. Thank you.

 

Will the 158 and 170 be in a single dlc?

 

No, it says on the summary two different dlc

 

Will onboard train announcements be included with the upcoming Goblin Line DLC, and if this is the case can we expect to see announcements on older routes where applicable like Bakerloo Line and London to Brighton?

 

Will the new San Bernardino line DLC have a freight layer?

 

1. Do you guys plan on adding features like announcements to your content? JT have done it and Rivet have improved on their system by making them automatic.

On the roadmap in the GOBLIN Line section, it mentions steam railtours, how many of these will there be and what will be the traction for them (It's gonna be the Jubilee clearly)

My question is regarding one of the new 3rd parties and that's Luminaries what type of content will they be focused on doing

 

is the OBB 1116 get new things that the another taurus series it will be sub into in another route for example Rosenheim Salzburg and in other old route in timetable with EC services with BR 101 for example ?

 

Since the issue with all 801s being numbered 12345 has been fixed, when will the other rolling stock with the issue like the NTP Mk2s be fixed?

And again, when will steam locomotives be finished and manual firing added?

 

I would ask that they expand on all.
Doubt they are all building routes, so are some just loco's and rolling stock?
Some may be area specific (German or US), so would be good if they could expand on.

 

Will there be announcements on board the Goblin line and when is there an approximated release date? I must admit I am disappointed with the roadmap however I remain optimistic about upcoming routes. I would love to see another Underground/Overground route. I am really excited for the London Overground though. dtg_jan

I have a question on the new Metrolink San Bernardino route. My favorite part on the Antelope valley line is all the rail crossings. Does the San Bernardino route have a lot of rail crossings as well? I really love the horn sounds for the Antelope valley line and I'm assuming the MP36 horn will be just as good. Looking forward to the new routes shared in Dovetail Direct.

 

What part of the licensing is holding up the other US route?

-Is it stock related? (Like Manufacturers?)
-Is it operator related? (MTA?, LIRR?, NY&A?)
-Is it just approvals are slow? (IE everything is submitted but the operator is slow to approve)

 

well from the article, they mentioned that there is a us route that still requires licensor approval

several of these new routes share an endpoint with existing routes. Will existing routes be updated to contain the new content as layers, whether AI or not? Also any prospect of route mergers being involved?

 

Is there any chance we can get the 377 rear gangway door constantly being open bug on London Commuter fixed please? It's been there for over a year now I think.

 

I see the older locomotives now function correctly when spawned in.

Is the Alerter audio bug being looked into for BNSF locomotives when spawning them in. Exterior audio bug with alerter cans a bit overwhelming when wanting to look out at your consist

Is it true that the Class 158 from Skyhook for Fife Circle is coming after the route is released? If so why not release them at the same time also will the reskin be free to those who already own MML?

Yes this bug been here for ages but as usual gets ignored

 

I (along with a solid handful of the community) would appreciate some kind of acknowledgement regarding the current state of steam, SOS and PFR.

Because we have two routes that we were promised fixes and features which seem to have been abandoned like manual firing?

The physics seem even more broken?
The FS especially is seems like it was developed like this on purpose to make it easy to drive?

We really deserve an upfront and honest answer because many of us purchased SOS and PFR with the promise of manual firing, 2 mk1 liveries, custom wagon liveries and a whole host more content. But instead it feels like its been left in a heap to any third party brave enough to try and pick up the pieces? Even Matt seemed to allude to the mess that is steam traction on dovetail direct.

Many of us love steam and we supported the content by buying it and many of us feel like we've been left out to dry? Did DTG just take on too much with steam or?

 

Will there ever be an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner? With a P42DC or F59PHI as another locomotive option besides the SC-44 Charger.

Why has steam been pushed pretty much to the bottom of the pile? Especially when there's still so much that needs improving on such as:

- steam/fire physics
- no sync'd smoke cuff/sounds for AI trains
- manual firing??
- Still no blood and custard coaches or conflat contains on wagons in timetable mode
- SoS is still dead and empty

Plus many more... We would like answers on what is going on with steam, especially when a lot of us took you up on steam with SoS & PFR only for it to be announced that it's no long being worked on.

Only good thing about steam is that PFR getting a DLC & timetable improvement somewhen this year...

 

Since the Peak Forest will be getting it's first DMU will there be other new liveries options for existing diesels/DMUs for the next expansion ?
Such as the class 101's in BR green ect.

 

I've read the f59phi retired some time ago. They all seem to have been sent elsewhere where dtg don't have the licenses to, so might be difficult to get reference material

It's presumed to be receiving the SEHS treatment.

 

Can we get a status report on the PC Editor, please? Much was made of that being released after years of waiting, but then it turned out the release was prominently missing the important feature of cooking, despite it having been sold as being the same tool DTG uses. The release was also immediately followed by two master class videos in October (confusingly, one is under the Live tab and one under the Videos tab) and some forum posts, but nothing since. Meanwhile, the October and November roadmap showed Editor updates planned for 6 months+, then December moved it to 4-6 months, and now it's gone entirely from the February roadmap. Has it been abandoned, or is work on it waiting for something else to happen, or what? Since it was a major selling point for TSW4, a status update would be much appreciated.

 

So we still don’t know what is the unreleased us route going to be, but I think that some people here already know what’s going to be. I am still going to guess it’s another passenger commuter route either Metro North Hudson or Connecticut or new LIRR Route and hopefully it will include the new grand central terminal corridor
