so there is on the roadmap 2 new things one is a UK loco addons and the another a german loco addons by simtrak for TSW 4

UK loco between 4 and 6 month and by DTG and not by rivet because it is not written rivet on.

and 6 month + german loco addons by simtrak

what do you think on that?

hopefully something logical for the DE loco... we could definetly use a 245, 147 or maybe even an EMU like a new ICE or another Regio train... who knows?

yes for me it's possible that we get maybe a BR 151 for example or a locomotive of the old generation of DB transport

Imagine for the UK loco they’d go for one attached to the ECML base route, so would guess a Class 91. Be lovely if it was a Deltic rail tour mind you!

A v100 would be great but there would be no route for it

Quietly hoping that UK loco is a Class 91 - The ECML desperately needs it flagship locomotive!

Probably a Class 59... Because we don't have enough sheds already.

I'd love to see a DR119 "U-Boot" for the German loco.

I would love a 91 but I'd settle for anything to use as an alternative to a 66. Personally I think that is more realistic than a 91 given you'd have to create loads of vehicles for a 91. At least a 58/60/68/70 is just one loco.

Please no more electric traction . How many BR freight locos are still needed in game not to mention the many vintage ones that are still missing.

Also, unsurprisingly, hoping for a class 91. Hoping to see some teasers/WIPs in the next few months (or minutes! xD)

Given the number of requests for the Class 91, I would put my bet on it coming.

Although I would also welcome another UK freight loco that isn't the Class 66.

Going to go slightly off-piste and say that the UK loco might be a 730 for Cross-City.

(But yes, a 91 was the first that came to mind)

As long as the new UK loco doesn't do a 313 and jump all over the place in the development and release cycle I'll be happy :D

Yes a TRAXX Diesel would be nice. Especially for use on Maintalbahn.

Something like BR 218 and 245 is clearly missing from the game, but I wouldn't mind even something that would universally layer in for the 185 that is by now really dated ingame model. Maybe 152 or 189, but properly made from scratch with all the modern TSW features and proper soundset.

Agree, a substitution for the 185 would be nice, however, I think with the Vectron they already delivered on this quite nicely.

What is obviously missing from the game, though, as said, some kind of diesel loco, where I would prefer the 218, tbh, as you could use it more widely as the 245, some representation of the IC2 and an ICE-T. Those sets are missing from quite a lot of current timetables and timetable mods in the making.

Mind you, I still can’t get used to the 110 as a freight loco on LFR:( Wouldn’t mind something in this regard, either.

IMHO the german routes cry for a mainline diesel. 218 or 232 pleasepleasepleaseplease!

The IC2 is a huge gap in the German rolling stock selection, but also quite an unattractive train both for DTG to make and for players to spend money on. It's physically very different, but exactly the same driving experience as the Dostos we already have in game. DTG can't just reskin the existing Dostos and toss it in as a bonus with a new route as it would be completely unrealistic, but if they made it properly, almost no one would spend loco add-on money for it, or get excited if it was a new route's flagship train. It's the Talent II problem all over again.

Same with the ICE-T honestly. On the routes we have so far, it's not a different enough drive to the ICE 3 to warrant making it. A route where it could tilt would be a different story, but unless we get one of those, DTG could use their dev time for things that make a much larger difference to the players.

For the German loco if I can chose diesel, the 218 which was used in Niddertalbahn, both with n-wagen and dostos. Later was replaced by 245 (only dostos).

    Electric, the 140 please.

We have this route, MSB, but the version we have in game is not equipped as such. Also, those services leave via the Nantenbacher Kurve to Würzburg. The perfect opportunity to overhaul MSB if you ask me.

I have to agree in the IC2, though. Personally I also believe it would only work as an addition to a new route and hopefully then with a decent 147. Nevertheless, its still missing...

Which routes would 218 fit timewise? The more I think about it, the more I feel like it would make a great addition if done properly, with good support for double traction (including an option to select it for any service). It could add a very large twist to mainline freights across the board and refresh lot of older routes with completely different traction characteristics and an opportunity for large variety of cc repaints. But I am not sure how well it would fit routes set to most recent periods.

DB doesn't use 218s in freight service today as far as I know, but private operators use them. A PRESS blue 218 or one in a retro Bundesbahn livery would be totally appropriate for freight trains even today.

it's not the BR 218 because is now in devloppement for TSW by TSG and there are screenshot on this and it's really weird that still not on the roadmap

    but i have 4 locomotives

    BR 245
br 298 (are siding locomotives and short freight services)
BR 296 (are sidings locomotives and short freight services)
    br 151

    Sylt Express or Gäubahn maybe?

They could add the IC2 in form of the Stadler KISS EMU. (Intercity 2K) Would be prototypical on the Gäubahn, could act as generic IC2 on other German routes and – with other liveries – could also be used on all kinds of routes in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, Caltrain SF-San Jose, CFL Luxembourg (to Koblenz!) as well as Sweden and different countries in Eastern Europe. Quite universal :)

ICE4 would be nice... IC2, if you mean the thing with BR146, then yeah, but it still would be cool... there is this IC that is basically Stadler Kiss 200, that one would be nice as well

We know that BR 218 was indeed a project of TSG, same as BR 232, but has been ages since the last update about it. Are we sure both projects are still on the table?

The replacement for the King (101), but not only that. Several fast regionals should use it. DB BR 120... Furthermore, it could also be an incentive to create the intercity Cabcar.

the 151 is a german locomotive i will really see on TSW for freight services and i think that simtrak will not make a ICE or IC trains because it's a lot of works and maybe a new locomotive it's a better choose for a tiers studio on TSW and maybe new wagons i think a BR 151 could be a good addons for TSW4

Tsg is just a small team that sets the bar high for quality and won't release something until it is basically perfect. They are also primarily a 2nd party for dtg, so if dtg makes any german content, they go to tsg to help with sounds, physics, setup/simulation.

Given this question response on the Q&A thread I think the Class 91 is unlikely - my best guess would be a Class 60 for Midland Main Line or Tees Valley.

I've also brought up another East German classic Dicke Babelsbergerin DR Baureihe 118 if they want a shunter DR Baureihe 104-106 Goldbroiler V60 OST. The East German 104-106 shunters are equal to the West German 363/365 shunters

Why is a 60 likely but the 91 not? The answer didn't suggest anything other than they will have more news to share so it can be anything

it’s the fact that’s it’s put in with the question on freight locos, though like the hint it could well be just as unrelated to freight.
