Picked this up earlier and WOW what a fantastic route thank you so much ChiefJack and anyone else who is behind this masterpiece!!
As I don't have the Salisbury route what is different in the two pictures to the default Southampton - Bournemouth?
390001 That did not answer my question. You posted two pictures in the Southampton area - I wondered what visual differences there were between the Default view at those locations and the current view.
To my eye, there has been virtually nothing touched at all on the existing route. Some vegetation perhaps, but that's kind of hard to tell when travelling. The shared stations on the route look no different to me.
I didn’t say there were any differences. I simply took 2 pictures of a scenario I drove on and uploaded them. Also me reposting was not me replying to you in the first place. pictures above are from Salisbury which IS on the new route. Jack did not touch the DTG part of the route.
all good peter, I would recommend it though it is a really nice route the detail is incredible. Deffo one to add to your collection if you enjoy that area.
I second this. Very nice detail on the route. Just wish now we had the lines between Eastleigh-Portsmouth, Eastleigh-London Waterloo and St Denys-Portsmouth now! Could then add the Basingstoke-Salisbury route for good measure. I'm well aware this won't happen, would just be nice to have all the routes local to me included!
