Where is the TSG 420 and 232? They were added to the roadmap years ago and a while back looked like we were finally getting it. 3 years and 3 games later we still don't have it. WTF is it lol?

The 420 won’t come until DTG make the necessary performance improvements to HMA. When are those improvements coming? Not any time soon

 

I’ve given up any hope of seeing them. If they eventually turn up, great. If not, I’ve made peace with it.

 

Something to remember with these is TSG is a very small team, they do this stuff around supporting DTG as a second party dev assisting with DTGs German content. They like to do stuff to a high standard, so things take time. I wouldn’t count on it coming until it has a date (this is why DTG moved it to that part of the roadmap as there is currently no date in sight)

 

They'll be ready when they're ready. ™

 

Won’t say vapourware as I don’t want to upset Maik, but with hindsight it was rather premature to announce something so early in development.

 

I think Matt said in the last roadmap stream "maik is a very busy man", hinting his work as 2nd party for DTG. That's why his personal projects are delayed.

I think he said that the order of releases changed. I guess his 218 will come first. Whenever that is. Then maybe the 420, then the 232.

 

A delayed train is eventually good.
A rushed train will always be bad.

And broken stuff in TSW hardly ever gets fixed, so it's best to just wait.

 

The frustration comes from knowing these will be top notch add ons, if the TSC versions and Maik’s previous work are anything to go by.

 

Too many people don’t realise how much we owe Maik for his work with DTG’s German content.

 

Pretty sure the upcoming 111 is his work too based on the few sounds in the teaser.

 

I didnt know 218 is coming... is it that famous diesel thing that still hauls some trains in Germany?

 

That's a rather vague description of what you mean but yes, she is widely known and still in use.

Oil money isn't going to get the br 420 out quicker. HMA needs work done by DTG to get anything new on the route

 

It was on the roadmap at november 2020 and was there for a while before it was taken off.
