The special and captivating experience of American branch line railroading is coming to Train Simulator, with Norfolk Southern’s N-Line! Read the full article...
As someone kind of from the area (at least in the same state, have been to Salisbury a couple of times), I have to say... interesting choice? I'm not complaining at all, this looks interesting and different, but it is kind of unexpected!
Heck, yeah! I can't wait for this! But all the same, we do need another NS mainline! Maybe perhaps, expand this route to Charlotte or Spartanburg!
Ooh, this looks very pretty! About time something from the south gets made. The only gripe I have about this is the fact that there's only 30 total route miles. At that short distance, this could have been done for TSW.
Didn't see this coming! If this line had the GEVOs again I wouldn't buy it but with geeps, I NEED it! Took long enough to see something from the South besides Miami-WPB.
True, but unlike TSW, this game is capable of long haul routes. There's a lot of demand for long routes that just aren't possible for TSW. I remember somebody saying "How would you like a 100 GB download and a year or more wait for the route to be made?" about a proposal for a long route in TSW. I think shorter routes like this would provide a steady stream of content for TSW and that they should stick more to longer routes for TS19.
Lots of people think lots of different things. I personally would prefer to see more local companies producing local routes (ie americans produce american content) etc but it ain't gonna happen. There's too much railway and not enough sim LOL
hey dose this route support non-side bars bulkhead flatcar? i see it support center beam car if so maybe that should be added to the route.
This is a branch line or short line railroad... not intended to be a mainline long haul. Looks like it will have plenty of line side switching and track profile will prove challenging. One of my favorite DLC is the B&O Kingwood Branch because of the challenges the line provides. Looking forward to this one’s release.
Being somewhat new to railworks and also from the south, this piques my interest. Though ive got a massive wishlist backlog this may be a day 1 for me
Don't think there's any limit as it works on the tile system of loading and offloading the scenery as it goes. The time to make the assets and group them together, and the download size are probably greater limitations than direct line length
