Last time I played GWR was in TSW 2 on PS4, I’m now just started playing again after a long absence using game pass and Xbox Series X Has this route been upgraded in anyway since to make it worth a buy now? Is frame rate improved and or graphical enhancements? If it’s the same I will give it a miss Thanks in advance for any info
In June 2021, the route was upgraded, adding PIDs, and later livery designer support, among other things. Performance on consoles however I am unaware of as I am a part of the glorious pc gaming master race
Majority of the legacy content (tsw2 and tsw2020) still have the same visuals. They did receive upgrades through the preservation upgrade, but they still have the old lighting and clouds. Not that the new lighting is great either.
They have now given back the longer HST consists since they were removed due to poor performance. I am on Xbox One and I haven't experienced any performance issues with this route. There is also more static stock in sidings like more 66s and static HKAs and containers. If you own Bakerloo the 72 stock is also parked up at a station.
