In the second chapter, I tried playing "R1633: Opsizio Bernina - Tirano", but I wasn't able to complete it. I did drive unitl the city of Tirano, but the station and especially the track I was scheduled to end the scenario was blocked. However there was even an KI-Train infront of me, which did not enter the station either. The track I was scheduled to arrive was blocked by another train without a driver. In the first picture you can see my train and in the distance the KI-train waiting to enter Tirano station. In the second you can see the reason the track is not free.
I am also unable to complete R1633, as mentioned by others. This is quite a bummer because completing it is required to access journey mode chapters 3, 4, and 5. When might we expect a fix for this?
If you are playing on PC you can remove the locks of the chapters with the following engine.ini entry and play them even if you have not completed the previous chapters. Nevertheless, Rivet should fix this problem immediately as consoles are excluded from this workaround. [SystemSettings] ts2.dbg.JourneyChapterLockOverride=1
Jasper_Rivet I have run the same service. The cascading issues begin with the fact that the 3 coaches on track 4, where the player train is set to go at Terino, do not have power so they are not going anywhere. Further, I would think the train between the player's and Terino, would head into track 3, which is empty, but the switch is set to 4 and there is no way for the player to change it. In the pictures with the quoted message you can see these coaches but not the out bound end. It is a shame that a good route by Rivet is spoiled with issues with AI train set up in the schedules. Guess I will add, the haze/fog in the valleys drives my bonkers since you can't see anything.
I can understand getting half the FPS I usually get on other roads, but what the hell is with headlights costing 15 FPS??? Are you raytracing them or what???
So i have played all the scenarios and a few timetable runs but the mastery doesn't unlock the second part so i can't finished this complete thing... i don't know of somebody else have this issue either? I have restart already a few times log in and out in the game with DTG Live but it doesn't solve it! So now my opinion to the route it self... I can only say...... finally, finally, finally! It happens..... Well done a route with nearly less problems and only a small minor bugs but that will all fixed soon! And the most worried i was about the sound and yeah awesome job there as well! So i give this a 8 out of 10! Well done thank you Rivet i had really fun so far
Mastery unlocked without issues here. Remember to wait a little until the data is sent to DTG and processed. I usually wait until the "logged into Dovetail Live" popup disappears before going to the Mastery menu after finishing a service.
Having a 'complete scenarios' in chapter 2 of a mastery challenge is annoying as anything. They should be in chapter 1 as I'm sure most of us do scenarios before timetables
Is that right? Journey mode doesn’t count towards Mastery? That explains why I’ve literally never seen any mastery stuff.
No i think thats not true.... The first chapter of the Bernina is unlocked normal so my theory isnt right.... You have to go to mastery rewards under the live tab and activate them... You have 2 pages.... Mastery Progress and the activate page
It was an assumption. I never play Journey mode. I've played the Scenarios and the mastery unlocked, so I wondered why it didn't for Xander.
The issue of the absence of a train driver in the cab of AI-controlled trains, as seen in the previous work (ScotRail Express), still exists. I hope this problem can be resolved promptly.
Well, they are releasing the Engineering Pack for the Scotch route, so don't hold your breath for soon.
The map on the top of the mountains is not closed and you can leave for the map and roam, conquering the tops, as well as climb under the map and stay on the bottom. They would have continued the card until Pontrezin ...
Somewhere on this thread is a video of running the train all the way to St. Moritz. Yesterday, I finally remembered to add snow into my custom weather and man, does it add a new dimension into running down the hill. Wheel slip is very evident whenever you are slowing and has to be taken into account with your brakes. Challenging and fun it is.
In general, the rails stretch to the Bernina Suot station and a little further in a straight line, not reaching a little 180 degrees to the Mortratsch station, is interrupted. That is, the route can still be continued, and the fact that now only part of it has been released.
Something terribly wrong with headlights in this game...10% bump in GPU usage with dimmed lights on a sunny day is weird to say the least.
Can not complete R1641 15:33 Ospizio to Tirano the red signal is stuck at Cavaglia as the passing train does not come.
I opened the map after waiting for 20 minutes and found the passing train was static at the stop towards Tirano. That signal was also set to red on the map.
Once I was stopped at Cavaglia, I went into free roam, and with some effort, flew down to Poschiavo and found 2 AI train in a stand off. There was a down hill train stopped in the double track section and at the station was an uphill train stopped on the same track. So, no one was going anywhere. Also noted as I flew downhill that all signals, both upgrade and down grade were red. Further, the player train should have been able to get down the hill as far as the last station with a passing siding/loop before Poschiavo.
Initially I wasn't going to buy this when someone highlighted the colour of roofs in the area shouldn't be red, but I thought about and went ahead anyway as it's not a very big gripe really, I'm glad I did it's a lovely route and definitely the most beautiful in the game. Now lets hope these fine mountain textures get used in the Canadian Rockies too, that would also be spectacular..
Having an issue on the Hot Wheels scenario where I have to reach and Maintain 20 KM/H (12MPH). I have reached it, but am not getting a tick for maintaining it before I reach Cavaglia where I need to drop off a wagon. Did anyone else have this problem?
Reach and maintain the 20km/h until Cavaglia, the tick appears shortly before Cavaglia as you are no longer allowed to drive faster than 20km/h with the faulty wagon. As soon as you have uncoupled the wagon in Cavaglia, you can continue your journey as normal.
The additional passenger cars have lights that shine through the ceiling, Don't think it should be this way!
Environment is PC Steam Locations with gates at railroad crossings Damaged in 3 places The blocking rod does not rise after the train passes...1 It has not descended since before the train passed...2
In Journey Mode the R1633 journey is still broken Unable to finish the run on Xbox Series S/X. Gets stuck at a red light towards the end of the run.
Hello everyone, I don't know if this was mentioned at live events, but it's been almost 1 month since the release of this DLC, and there have been no real fixes. Do you know if this is planned? Thanks for your time.
They have fixed some things. Rivet tend to be on the quiet end and take a really long time to fix things but I think they have more planned. They are also working on fife circle so that might slow things down.
Wish I had seen these posts before trying this route. Nearly 2hrs wasted but remember people Rivet and DTG check the journeys and scenarios, it's only timetables they don't test... What a load of rubbish from 3rd rate developers
It's unrealistic to test every single service. There are sometimes hundreds of services each taking a really long time. They don't have the time or even the people to run everything. Also no, creating a 1 service timetable or reduced tt so they can test every service is not the solution
I understand that and they have actually said that. However they also said that they do test both scenario's ans journey mode which this service is part off. So it should have been tested but clearly wasn't
I am also blocked at the 2nd level, I have the unlocking for the 3 schedules but impossible for the 3 scenarios despite their termination
rennekton#1349, a lot of paying customers would strongly disagree with this sentiment. I'll post the same the thing I posted to you the last time you defended the business practice of selling products that don't work correctly and are not subsequently fixed: "I perfectly understand that a game like a train simulator will always have bugs, ranging from minor texture flashes, sound volume issues, uncompletable services, to outright crashes. It is not my job to develop or sell TSW. If I am sold a game with 100 levels or services, I expect to be able to complete all 100 levels. I don't even mind that DTG is unable to test all 100 services. I will happily report these issues post-release so that they can be fixed. But if the issues aren't acknowledged and fixed, the circle is broken, and the trust is broken. It seems that a lot of TSW fans feel that way right now. If DTG can't test 100 services and won't fix services post-release, then they should reduce the scope of their projects. I would rather have a bug-free 20 mile route with 10 services than 50 miles/100 services with uncompletable content."
DTG, is there any update on a fix for R1633? Many players are stuck on Chapter 2 of journey mode because of this bug. I have also reported this bug to the feedback thread on the Rivet forums. We bought and paid for this DLC over a month ago and would love an update on when this issue will be fixed. Thank you!
