What is that issue that made you not launch preorders?

 

Does the ICE 1 have services, even if it's just AI?
Why are you so much against high level entry Dosto cars as it seems like it? I know they might not be realistic for this route in 2013 specifically but more generally speaking too, why?

 

1. Can you use the Br 111 on other routes?

2. Any unique features on the route and 111?

 

Well, the 111 is a tap-changer, but it's controlled by a throttle lever rather than a wheel.

 

What were the sound sources for the BR 111?
Is it reusing sounds and physics from the previous DB BR 103 and 110 locos?
Will the 111 layer on any other routes?
What layers will come to the route from existing routes?

NB: These questions are for DTG so can I politely ask the usual suspects not to pop their beaks in as unofficial spokesmen. Thank you.

 

What formations will the 111 have in scenario planner/Designer

 

Will the Br 111 work with other „Steuerwagen“ like the „Karlsruher Kopf“?

I‘m especially interested in the area around the Lake Chiemsee (so around the Prien, Bernau and Übersee stations). There is a small branch (“Chiemgaubahn”) to Aschau that leaves the mainline at Prien, serviced by the BR 628 which we have in the game. Apparently, in the evenings some trains operating on the branch go all the way back to Rosenheim. Is this represented in the game?

I’m also wondering if there were ever any thoughts about including the aforementioned Chiemgaubahn (Prien - Aschau im Chiemgau) as part of the route. Thanks!

 

It would be awesome if we got a distant glimpse of Herrenchiemsee palace.

 

Do we have services with the BR 766.2 cab car as well? And if yes how many in comparison to the BR 111?

Did you crafted some new scenery house assets with this route?

(I guess you would show it anyway if it's the case but)
What was the purpose of the peat station in the teaser? Is it just a unique station asset or do we indeed have the short miniature railway on there within the DLC? Or if not, is it maybe planned or a passion project to include it in the future?

Since this discussion is quite a little underpopulated than I estimated, let me have a bit of a response to that.

I mean it's likely, yes. But not 100% sure, though. I've found this in the accompanying Salzburg-Rosenheim article:

"This popular addition to Train Sim World will run services along the length of the route hauling DB Gen 4 Dosto coaches"

A bit nit-picky, but it says "hauling" not running. Would like to have the official statement.

 

Also I have three other questions:

1. Why is Lukas not with the stream this time?
Nothing against Alex and Matt, but he maybe could add a few background details regarding the scenery and construction of the railway.

As a side question: Do you got an idea how you will handle the presumably lots of incoming chat questions in german? Do you need a translator?

Since Preorder was canceled and the DLC is even off Steam right now due to the issue you stated:

2. Is it safe that the route will come out at Tuesday 27th?

3. Will the preorder discount period be prolonged/scheduled due to the missing of it now?

 

Is the engineroom accessible?

Are there separate railroad crossings for Germany and Austria?

 

One more from me…

When are we going to get an expanded collection of German rolling stock? How about some UIC compartment stock BM235 etc.? Sure these would have been seen on the line.

 

Why you should have ICEs if they are not running on the line Salzburg Rosenheim? And between Kufstein and Rosenheim there are only ICE-T and also that is very rare.....

 

Why should we have ICEs on Maintalbahn when they only run on Aschaffenburg Main Station, huuuh?

 

Well, they would have, but not in the 21st century.

 

1. Why Salzburg-Rosenheim? What's in your opinion the special thing about the route?

2. Can the KaKo be used as cab car to controll the 111? [so basically: Is ZDS (or was it ZWS?) included?

3. Are n-Wagen in any form layered to the route?

4. Will liveries for the 111 spawn in the timetable or is it deactivated?

5. Are there any plans for a RailJet? [i know it won't be answered, but still, just to show interest]

6. Does the 111 have the suspension function?

7. Can you showcase shortly the 111 in formation designer?

 

1. Want to second the question from RobertSchulz , what happened to Lukas? Always found his intel into the German routes he was talking about quite refreshing and informative.

2. Also already asked but want to back it up: will we see any nWagen action on this route? If not, I would be interested in the reasoning, as I believe they would be quite important here (even with Kako) and they are already in the game.

 

Why can you delay the potential release of the dlc for one scenario and not the other?

 

- In the roadmap stream, Alex mentioned the OBB 1116/Bmz from Semmeringbahn will eventually layer into Rosenheim-Salzburg (a great decision in my opinion; please do the same for Vorarlberg too). Can you tell us a bit more about this; will these add completely new services to Rosenheim-Salzburg? Or will all such IC services be available from launch regardless, but instead operated by the DB 101 etc?

- Can you please consider making the excellent Vectron as a selectable loco for playable freight services for this route?

It was mentioned in the roadmap stream the route is a "window in time" i.e. older trains on a more modern representation of the route. Thus, I don't see why it would be a problem having such a newer loco like the Vectron on the modern representation of the route.

- Will the 111 be available to use for services on other routes, especially for Rhein-Ruhr Osten as per reality?

It is really a pity n-wagens are not in the route

 

They don't run on the route. They're local-service coaches.

 

Well at least in 2013 and recent years before they did, at least as placeholders for Meridian services (alongside ÖBB City Shuttles as well), occasionally even on the RE Munich - Salzburg services.. (source: https://www.bahnbilder.de/?name=galerie&kategorie_id=3350&jahr=2013 )
But likely only occasionally though. I railfanned at Vogl around 2008, 2009 someday where they were the standard rolling stock for RE and RB services back then.
But no matter the actual accuracy I fear it's safe to say we will never see a TSW route with a mix of n-Wagen and Dostos despite AI only. Or a proper IC.
It even took 3 austrian themed routes for a Taurus......

 

So from the preview stream it was mentioned that Rosenheim will see AI ICE services, but what about Salzburg Hbf?

One other thing of note was when Matt was choosing the 101 service towards the end of the preview, the description showed the service as playable between Salzburg Hbf and Rosenheim, yet it started at Freilassing?

One final question, DTG Alex can you confirm regarding the 628 how many services and the duration of each as this was not mentioned at all in the preview, thanks.

 

What if anything was said on the stream about the possibility of a Railjet set? Don’t tell me, “No plans…”
