Is the class 09 broken? I noticed the windshield wipers do nothing to wipe away snow/rain and the marker lights do not turn on...the AI does not use either the wipers or lights on West Somerset route.

It took them 8 months to fix the HST with the same issue... you need to be very patient ;)

With the Class 09 you always had to click the marker lights themselves after switching on the button in the cab. The windshield wipers are a bad joke from DTG, it will be interesting to see how many months the fix will take, with the HST it was "only" almost a year. :|

At the same time, you can read everywhere: "to ensure the highest quality experience for our players"

Yeah, I meant the AI doesn't when in movement. For example, in SEH the AI uses both the correct lights and windshield wipers all the time. That really looks and feels real. How does some routes lack this? It looks very silly when you see AI driven trains in a rainstorm with the windshield not clear. These are not complicated fixes.

It's because each DLC is its own universe.

Just because they manage to have the AI using correct headlights and wipers in one DLC doesn't mean they declare it a standard for each subsequent DLC.

Just because the Contrast/Dimmer buttons for displays are working in one DLC doesn't mean they make this piece of code a standard.

Knowledge is constantly lost and must be regained again and again at Chatham.

It is what it is - I'm playing other sims. Only here to assist in troubleshooting and updating my mods.

I see..why don't they just use the same windshield/light AI code across the board? Wouldn't that just make sense? Have someone in QC given a check list of these things to make sure it's all working? Not hard.

How do you fix one thing, and break something unrelated?

Well, I sent a support ticket this morning.... and I sent a support ticket for something else at 10pm tonight.

In those 13 hours, 64 support tickets have been sent by other players.

So yeah, stuff seems to be falling apart everywhere.

What a shame, this game has potential, but keeps falling off the cliff. All we can do is keep sending support tickets I guess. Smh.

If you saw all the support tickets I've sent in the last month, you'd probably have a heart attack.

10 pages of the things, so somewhere between 100-150?

I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands, so being an unpaid beta tester is turning into a voluntary job just lately. :D

Surely there's something more productive that would yield better results you could do.

Can't imagine those tickets have done anything :D

Wow! That's crazy, someone has to do it. Lol. Every time I play I see something amiss. If they would stop rushing out dlcs and fix existing bugs, then it would be a small step in the right direction. Take today.. driving the 4024 I see lines projecting from the headlights onto the track at night. Is this a real thing or a bug?

Every time I look at S-Bahn Vorarlburg the BR193 jumps out at me, so haven't gotten around to trying the 4024 just yet.

Sounds like that may be another ticket though. :D

The BR 193 you said jumps out at you, in a good way? I find it nice and easy to drive. Have you taken the 4024 out for a spin to see if the lights look wrong?
