The Driver Assist pop-ups are getting more and more intrusive and I don’t want to see them but still require control change notifications. These were both under the same “Notifications” toggle in the menu.

Is that still the case? And if so, is there any way DTG can give them their own toggle as they are driving me mad.

They come up suggesting I do things I’ve already done and also come up suggesting I do things I don’t want to do and in the case of reverser settings on steam engines they repeat endlessly. I really need to turn them off. DTG are adding more and more of them, like the new “turn on safety system for more points” at the start of every service. I know it gives me more points but I don’t want to turn on some of them, the game does not need to tell me every service. It’s getting ridiculous now.

I found the driver assist notification toggle and realised that I had actually found it before, but it is one of those toggles that does not stay off and reverts to ‘on’ each time the game is loaded. DTG Matt another setting to add to those to be fixed so they stay on permanently.

I haven't been able to get rid of the red "controller" icon that keeps popping up on the end of the LH HUD and can't even see what setting you need to adjust to turn it off.

By a process of trial and error I was able to get rid of those pesky PZB speed countdowns and "safe to release" messages though not sure which option I randomly switched off achieved that.

The setting should be clearly labelled something along the lines of "traction lock indicator"

It's probably down to the fact that HUD settings are not grouped into one but three menus.

Very odd isn’t it. There must be a reason for it but I’m not sure if I could easily work it out. I may go through all the settings and write them down on a crib sheet to make my life easier when I need to change something in the future.

It also displays when not traction locked and you can still move the train. Just bothersome and I wish DTG would scrap that arcade element altogether. It would be more useful if you can’t move to have a box pop up and tell you why, e.g. you left the parking brake on or similar.
