So, I have created portals on my own route and trains are leaving them in a test timetable. But when I look at the route map, when they should have entered the next portal, I see this:
    Portalproblem_1.jpg
It seems that the train above doesn´t get deleted in my portal and others get stuck behind the first one (see picture). Is it a setup issue in the timetable or do I have to give them a next service?
Maybe someone (especially from the people who make timetables) can help me?

Try forcing the "ribbon location" to 1.0 on the "enter portal" instruction.

Is the same service also appearing from a portal? There is a bug that a service can only appear or disappear from/into a portal. Therefore, in that case you might need to make a second service for driving into the portal.

My understanding was that the ribbon location thing fixed that issue. Is that not true?

On my MSB timetable I have plenty of AI services flawlessly leaving and entering a portal without even making a stop in between, so I consider this a wrong statement.

Do you use the ribbon location workaround or does it just work out of the box, Isaak?

Sometimes it works without adjusting anything, but I had a few 16 car ICE services that needed the ribbon location tweak, which worked immediately.

If that solves the problem, great. Will try that on some nonstop services in my timetable. I just had a problem with selecting the portal from the dropdown and once I split it up into multiple services it worked. I only found that solution after looking into the forums where someone mentioned the bug.

I'd say we now have two workarounds for this bug: a) split up services (works) and b) modify ribbon location (appears to work).

Thanks, after 2 days it now worked (silly me - I didn´t tick the "force" box:o)

I've tried the approach with 1,0 as ribbon location and it does not work all the time. I have a case where the formation is reversing out of the first portal and it wouldn't go into the second portal. So I had to rely on the second service there.

Did you tick the "force specific location" box?

Another way of doing it is clicking the far end of the portal on the route map, does a similar thing to setting the ribbon location as 1.

Probably forgot that part. Will do that for the next resimulation and see if it fixes the problem.

That's not too surprising given that the editor selects wherever you click as the ribbon location :)
