not sure but didn't the 3rd Gen Dostos ran on this route in 2013? where 'em at?

Is it this time true for Xbox Series X consoles as well, or is it same sort of false advertising we had for the Vorarlberg route whre mountains popin literally 100 meters away from the track, making it almost the most ugly route landscape wise.
Every preview stream is done on PC and Console user dont know what they buy until they actually bought and run it.

 

The First Talent Journey 5058 is unplayable because The Pantograph is missing and the PIS don’t working on the Stations

 

There is/will be plenty of gameplay on Youtube. You can always wait and have a look until the first videos are up for your console.

Only 4th Gen Dostos ran on that route, so it's absolutely realistic.

I won’t be buying the route on console, but from what Matt discussed, the mountains in this route are essentially the skybox, not 3D terrain that would be susceptible to scenery pop-in like other mountainous routes. So because of that I would assume that the mountains here would be visible at all times on even the 8th Gen consoles.

assuming DTG always uses the latest variant for best compatibility, the one from BRO. which also means it's KWG for the ICE 3

 

I hope You are wrong because of eventually necessary purchases (BRO) for some people.
HRR is a quasi-requirement for 101 so let's hope the static/scenery one (425) is from there.

Sorry to be "That Guy" but is there a discount now that the base game is back on Game Pass. Not unusual that nothing is showing at the moment, but I haven't seen a discount mentioned anywhere.

 

In the past, it took a few days for the game pass discount to apply, so I guess keep waiting?

DTG Alex Bug Report Rosenheim - Salzburg

On the whole one of the best routes, but I only had to discover a few very annoying bugs on the first journey.

Once again it's the double-decker carriages that are affected, how could it be otherwise? This time the sounds for opening and closing the doors are only played on a whim!

The FIS of the driving trailer has the habit of switching itself off during the journey. Finally get this under control. It's not the first time and other Dostos have had the same problem since TSW3!

Then you made a big mistake with the railway announcement at Teisendorf station, because you can still hear station announcements on the open track 9.8 kilometres before Freilassing, even though it feels like you're already 2 kilometres away!

Please fix this!

A few things about the BR111
I think its stupid that we can't go into the engine room and also that we can't at least switch on the engine room lights. But one positive thing that i noticed is that this might be the first loco where the MCB also visibly works. You can see it on the roof when its open or closed. I can't remember seeing this on any other loco. So its mostly a good loco but the things with the engine room and the engine room lights is wasted potential to me. I also don't understand why are we having turntables with overhead wires when we can't use them. You can't even go to the turntable controls and you don't get any current from the overhead wires there. That's just ridiculous...

 

Can't believe Dtg uses the upcoming ÖBB 1116 just for 4 EC Service. Kind of a wast of opportunities and not realistic as it's so common here.. please add more

There are already EC services with the 101 and German IC stock, i guess the 4 ECs are the only ones operated by austrian stock. So they arent more to do besides railjet, but maybe they keep them out of the Timetable.

 

Can confirm this audio bug and have reported it in the feedback track. Kinda weird, indeed.

Yes, everything in TSW is 10% off if you have Game Pass (Ultimate?). It's just that whenever there's a new route, it takes a couple of days before it's activated :/

The ÖBB trains on this route in 2013 (according to vagonweb):

• EC 5
• EN 4
• IC 16
• RJ 29

Apart from the RJ services each of them could do an ÖBB 1116 with Bmz. If you want to have a bit more traffic, DTG could also do the RJ Services with just the 1116.
In reallife this is a major route for austrian trains from Salzburg to Tyrol, so they should be more visible in TSW.

I have to admit, non of the öbb trains stop in Rosenheim. Anyway for gameplay reasons I would like to see them stop there to get playable services.

 

IIRC, on the Munich-Rosenheim-Salzburg-Vienna run, ICs and ECs are equivalent trains, but the former are DB and the latter OBB.

(Historically, the Eurocity system replaced the defunct TEE on services that weren't being covered by the new bullet trains. The Intercity however already existed as DB's "domestic TEE.")

 

Hm, i dont think you can say IC=DB stock EC=ÖBB stock If i understood you correctly. i know that some of the EC Services on the route are operated by DB stock.

Heres EC 114 iirc at Schwarzach st. veit which later joins the Salzburg Rosenheim line. So the 101 doing some EC runs with DB stock is realistic, and the ones operated by OBB locos and coaches will be added with the 1116.

On the left you can even see an ICE 4 which recently replaced loco hauled trains on this line and turned it from an EC to an IC(E) service.

 

So far, I've tried two of the activities included with this route: one a scenario and the other a timetable session. Both offered the same "Driver Assist" message early on: "Turn on safety systems LZB/PZB to receive additional points" without providing instructions for doing so. Will someone please tell me how this is accomplished?

No, back in 2013 there were EC and IC operated by ÖBB (and DB as far as I know). They could be formed with (mostly) ÖBB locos and ÖBB passenger cars as well as foreign passenger cars.
Additionally there were also services called "ÖBB EC" and "ÖBB IC" with higher comfort standards and necessarily ÖBB passenger cars.

Well i just did for ECs, and it states that EC services 114,115, 117 and 216-219 +390,391& 1217 were operated by DB IC stock+a 101. The only ECs for Salzburg Rosenheim with öbb cars and 1116 are four(!) Klagenfurt Dortmund Services (EC 110-113)

Additionaly there are the DB ÖBB Munic to Italy EC services operated by ÖBB stock, but they would be AI only at Rosenheim as well as a lot of domestic austrian Services at Salzburg.

Railjets would come on top of that but theres no stock for that in game, and i dont know about filling in that gaps with ÖBB Bmz as that would be unrealistic.

You are right. There are only 4 EC with austrian coaches, I thought 5. My bad.

But there are more ICs.
IC 861-IC 869, IC 118, IC 119

All I was saying is, there should be more than 4 EC services with an ÖBB 1116.
This and a ton of AI services and static stock to feel authentic.
