However every car has a pantograph space and i cant see a buffet car. Generally all coaches look the same, so still far from realistic

    It's a demo only atm :)

The correct way to build a sim is to first work on the core and simulation, that might be even only using wireframe graphics. When the engine is solid, the modelling can be done. If you develop models while the core is still in development, you get the TSW situation with stock and lighting broken by updates.

Zusi 3 is my go to at the moment. Very immersive, always lots of things to think about when playing an accurate German rail sim such as this. Signalling is top notch, physics feel great, sounds v good too (announcements as well). Graphics are bve like, but still good enough imo. Even saw an animated track worker strimming the trackside grass recently! Even little touches like this enhance the immersion, we need more things like this in TSW to liven up the sim.

Zusi 3 recalls me OMSI 2 - the same ever lasting Simulator for ages.

My current top list of railway sims

    1. ZUSI 3. ( I think it is the best train sim at this moment )
    2. Simrail
    3. Run 8
    4 TSC
    5 TSW

Need to add. I tried ZUSI 3 after having played TSW for long time and found ZUSI 3 much better in many aspects

I hope this will create some healthy competition. TSW is just pumping out so much content... Bugs and visual issues are not fixed or it takes months to fix them. I hope it makes both games better.

For me, nothing gets close to Zusi for pure realism. It is my go to sim (although with VR now available in TSW, I am a bit more torn about which one to play when I have a bit of spare time)

DTG, outside developers are acknowledging your weaknesses and are going to capitalize on it...and love to see it.

This is not aimed at DTG developers, but the ones who call the shots, forcing developers to push out content that are bug riddled with no intention on fixing them.

There is a whole maintenance section under Service, where I believe you can purchase replacement engines, transmissions etc.?

For those interested in BR218 Diesel engine sounds:

screaming turbochargers when the trains take off at full accelleration.
    From inside the cab:

    turn up the volume!
