Yes, I haven't commented on this wretched situation wrt US content, because I'm basically speechless. If anything ever materializes ( beyond Metrolink Part 2 ), it will be an entire year without a speck of American dlc. So disappointing,

Just on Suspension - from the Roadmap. There's a thread set-up for feedback on it.

    Suspension Feedback – Your Thoughts

Our development and beta teams have been discussing for the suspension system over a wider range of trains and routes is whether the effect of the bounce over junctions is too much, or if it’s appropriate to "hyper-realise" it for the experience.

In reality, you may expect a much less visible jolt over the frog, and more of a gentle dip into the junction generally, but that would remove much of the effect. Currently it is affected by your speed too, so as you go faster the effect is much less noticeable, as you'd expect, but at slow speeds you feel a lot more as shown in the video.

We’d like to open up the debate and invite in all of your opinions - It'd be great to get some feedback on the Class 66 Suspension video shown above from the community, especially any of you with practical cabride experience to help! Please share your thoughts on our Class 66 Suspension feedback thread we’ve opened.

You can expect us to come back next month and continue to share more progress on the suspension improvements we’re implementing.

There was a time when I purchased every UK DLC. That time has now passed, I can't see me purchasing Goblin line anytime soon as it just doesn't interest me. The Fife Circle Line is interesting and that room is being left open for a potential Leven branch addition is great, but overall this roadmap was underwhelming for me, Suspension work on A class 66 variant means a promised addition to TSW4 isn't happening soon, and no sign of formation designer on console also means that addition isn't happening soon. Yeah I'm done. I'm voting with my wallet and with the likely exception of Rivet's Fife Circle line it's staying closed for the foreseeable future.

They mentioned it's in the 4-6 month category unless stated otherwise.

Well...here are the timetables of CD with destinations in Austria and Germany:

    CD Services to Austria.jpg

    CD Services to Germany.jpg

We have Dresden, Munich and Hamburg as HBF, but the route could not be the ones we have.
    Hopes some of them yes!

Who mentioned it? When and where?

Why isn't it on that section of the roadmap then? We've been told time and again if it isn't on the roadmap, it isn't being worked on.

Alex mentioned it during the roadmap. I would highly recommend you listen to it. https://www.youtube.com/live/OyYvhqDXU5o?feature=shared&t=1911

Strictly speaking there's no reason to have a Scotland flag separate to the Union Jack. If you want to separate out parts of the UK then use the St. George's Cross. I'm not a nationalist, just a pedant.

More importantly though, I'm disappointed by the mention of "Bmz coaches". That's standard class only, not nearly enough for an IC rake. The corner cutting with the DB IC was bad enough, but this is ridiculous - you're supposed to be making a realistic, immersive sim

So true! If only DTG would include the Amz coach and the Railjet with Semmering Bahn and maybe update the 101 with the cab car

In reality the CD Railjet drive on the Semmeringbahn route to Graz (from Prague via Vienna). I think every 2h, but you can look it up.
So you would indeed have soon a realworld route for the CD Railjet (and ÖBB railjet of course).

Can you tell me what all these locomotives (all OBB 1116) have in common that the Dovetail one, which fortunately is still a work in progress, does not? It's a trivial thing, but it's also a distinctive sign (otherwise we wouldn't all call it Taurus but only EuroSprinter or ES64, if anything.)

    So, have you guessed it?

    tele-blick-auf-taurus-logo-1016-026-7-1126011.jpg

Dovetail's Eurosprinter 64 U+ does not have the distinctive Taurus logo. Detail, but in my opinion important.
"The ÖBB assigned the protected name Taurus to Class 1016 (and later to the Classes 1116 and 1216); since then all ES 64 U+ series are widely known as 'Taurus' locos." From Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EuroSprinter

I could upload endless images of the OBB 1016-1116-1216, all with different liveries. They all have that distinctive mark (little red rectangle with white writing T A U R U S).

For more details, from page 2, we talk about it here.
    https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/semmeringbahn-discussion-thread.78628/page-2

...And of course I hope it gets added to the final version.

They don't have the copyright to use the Taurus logo as a DTG employee already stated here in these forums.

So instead of another ES64 (we will make the Taurus OBB livery ourselves) they would include another train model on the route with perhaps first class carriages. And the possibility of using Intercity wagons with our three ES64 U2 aka DB BR 182. Which is paradoxical but not yet possible today, neither in Scenario Planner nor in Free Roam.

Anyway, that is a very sad new.

I don't care about UK, US, GER - I'm more worried about how long it will be before the release of the Tadami Line)

You are probably gonna be waiting a LONG time. The early preview shots barely show close up scenery, and the farther away stuff wasn't modeled. I'm predicting at earliest 2025.

Give it it’s time, no rush, but yea it’s not going to be fast/any time soon I don’t think, maybe early 2025 (Jan-March) or after (late 2024 at earliest) seems about right.

If correct, this is sad news...
I doubt that DTG with their non-stop release schedule will have the time for this anytime soon.

HMA is a lost cause unfortunately. I don’t think DTG thought it out too well.

We can’t add anything to it because it’s too big on the Munich end, thus making Munich itself pretty pointless as it’s devoid of any regional/IC trains.

The SBahn portion makes up most of the traffic, which you only see if you drive the SBahn services, which don’t even go into Munich lower - disappointing to run a service right upto the last stop before a HBF.

Overall the SBahn experience is suffering because of the mainline that isn’t even populated, and the Mainline suffers because of an incomplete SBahn experience.

The only way I see to fix it is go from the ground up again, relaying infrastructure & scenery in a more efficient manner, using what are hopefully newer more effective methods of doing so. Then redoing the timetable in a way that makes sense. There is nothing fun about a route which cannot be made good, because it’s too full of subpar experiences.
