I think it would be a nice addition to see the “Fast Train Approaching. Stand back from platform edge” message display on the PIS Screens at stations on UK routes by taking the stopping pattern from the timetable. I’m not sure how possible this will be, and whether it will require the PIS system to be developed in a different way to enable it
Yes, this would be great. Would add to immersion, and would be a fantastic addition alongside other station announcements, and my suggestion for dispatch whistles etc. https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/east-coast-mainline-dispatch-procedures.78969/. Perhaps this could be implemented into the core alongside train announcements
Should be able to be done, considering the speed radar in Vorarlberg roughly knows at what speed you're going.
This is a great idea, some stations do already have basic announcements and the use of announcements is a posible method they will use in future so this could probably be sorted based of the timetable and the time the train is expected in the station so probably could work.
While audio announcements would be great in the long run, my suggestion is primarily focusing more on the short term solution with visual warning messages that appear on the PIS screens as DTG don’t appear to have a solution as of yet in regards to audio announcements
