I thought it might be fun to introduce myself. I’m Brian. I grew up in the southern US, but spent an exchange year in high school living in Bavaria. I had a lot of opportunities to travel all around Germany on the trains there and just absolutely fell in love with trains and especially German trains. I am slowly working on an N scale German train layout with my wife. I love trains in general, but the German ones are my favorite. I have done quite a bit of gaming in the past but I honestly get pretty tired of the violence in most of them. Finding TSW has been just delightful. The depth of learning in the game is wonderful and relaxing. There’s something very calming about being in the cab and paying attention to signals, safety systems, speed limits, etc while also seeing the lovely scenery the artists at Dovetail have built and it’s just extremely satisfying for me. I just wanted to throw that out there and to also say thanks to all of the developers and artists who make the game. It’s really struck a chord with me. Thanks for reading!
