Yes, I wondered about that, too. Usually any updates shall be listed in some posts within the Announcement Forum. But nothing to see there.
I suspect it probably just allowed it to detect the new route. I think we're still a long while away before we get any improvement patches to the editor. I think we're more likely to see Cities Skylines 2 get it's full editing and mods released and out of beta (which is likely to be end of this year) before we get improvements to the editor at this rate, which is a real shame.
Not really related, but would help a lot if we at least could use the official Editor, first and third parties are using. I would be willing to even sign a contract for it.
We have to rebuild the editor for each core update to keep it all in sync - no changes to it currently otherwise. RobertSchulz if you want to become a third party developer, please do contact the team Matt.
