After completing Tier 2 you need to restart the game to toggle the Mastery Reward.

I like it, as far as I tried it.

I don't understand the point of the second tier 1 mastery. You must drive at 80 mph / 128 kph eventhough the route speed limit is not that fast anywhere and the class 710 don't go that fast. I remember something similar at Cathcart Circle mastery :(

Yes quite a rubbish thing to put in something purporting to be a serious simulation and licensed from the train operator. What were they thinking?!

Mastery is rubbish in general IMO.

I don't see why better scenery is locked behind buggy achievements. I don't think i've ever unlocked one even with hundreds of hours played.

If they want to have unlockables make it costumes for the drivers or something else easily ignorable.

I like that idea! I totally want to see my driver avatar in a chartreuse tutu with a velociraptor head.

The Cathcart Circle one I had to create a scenario on content creators club, stick the 314 on GWE and just blast it out of Reading until it got to maximum speed and I unlocked the trophy

Mastery, Action Points, Medals are not needed anyway for everyone who just wants to drive realistically. The ducks are just an element of the "Game" not the sim aspect. So if you don't want to exceed the speed limit, you don't have to do it, you can ignore the Mastery.

I enjoyed it in a free roam from Gospel Oak to Barking, took a while to eventually reach the speed. It's just a bit of fun. After all, this is a game.

I didn't have to do that, I just got out of town on the Newton line and opened it up.

There was a universal mastery unlocker/'cheat' mod, it still works for me.

The only issue I have with the route currently is that my wife has just bought Hogwarts Legacy from CEX and that means I don’t stand a chance of getting near the PS5 for the foreseeable future. I think she’s currently learning to cast spells, judging by what I can hear from the other room. I’m actually itching to get back to it to play another service or two, it’s such a good route.

Hogwarts Legacy is an exceptionally good recreation of Hogwarts, you aren't getting back to that PS5 for a loooooong time.

I'd steer clear of her until she knows what she's doing. I realize you like the route but you don't want her turning you into a goblin, at least until she can wand you back.

Hopefully she’ll go to bed within the next couple of hours. It’s been 5 hours since I posted and except for an hour when we had our evening meal and watched TV she’s been playing it… and there was mention of goblins in the game just to rub it in. I’m taking the time now to catch up on the Fife Circle live stream while I wait.

This is easily one of the best routes I've driven, well done DTG. And the mastery reward of sitting with the ducks is a nice touch.

Have to wonder if a future C2C or District line DLC is on the cards given Barking station is now modelled? One can hope!

I may be a Londoner and was delighted that a local line from my childhood was coming to TSW but I'm also really looking forward to Fife Circle. Scotland is for escapism, London is for familiarity. Both have their place in my collection.

I am loving this route too, such a joy to drive and the stations really look good. Brilliant work DTG, thank you.

Nice route - but have had more people walking and standing on the tracks in the few short runs I have made so far. Not that much of a biggee to me - would like to see it sorted and I wonder if the uproar over this minor detraction would be a lot louder if this route was sourced from another party :)
