Cleethorpes to Manchester hull to Leeds Leeds to Manchester Doncaster to Manchester Doncaster to Blackpool
Cleethorpes to Manchester is too long. Have it be Cleethorpes to Doncaster (where it connects with the ECML) is probably more realistic. Hull to Leeds is possible, could maybe include York. Leeds to Manchester has been done already but a modern setting could be done. Doncaster to Manchester is too long. Splitting it between Manchester and Sheffield and Doncaster and Sheffield is realistic. Doncaster to Blackpool, again too long but as above could be Manchester to Preston (or to Blackpool in a modern setting). Don't even think there are direct services between them. That's probably the way these routes would be made by DTG or third party.
There are two Leeds-Manchester lines one of them, the Calder Valley Line not being in any Train Sim games afaik so would be a good choice
Forgot about Calder Valley. Would be a good shout as I doubt the line via Huddersfield will be made again.
