You can pick any train, route & time on any lines you love, for example: if I play M8 on the LIRR between Penn & Hempstead or Atlantic Terminal & Hicksville, I can play at least eight car set. Just like TS on the computer. It's called QUICK DRIVE.

M8s will run from new Rochelle to Penn station when east side access is complete and four new station are being built between Penn station and new Rochelle.

But it would be cool to see the m8 on LIRR just m7s and m8 have different third rail shoe compatibility

Yeah they do they use both M7 and the M8 but it depends on the days when to catch the M8 because the M8 is the newest model rite now that runs the Long Island rail road

would be great! especially if are add at services timetable
for who don't have clear Ideas about M8 and M7 let's me explain it, LIRR has EMUs how ONLY M3, M7 and the new M9, the M8 are own by MNRR, and are use in New Haven line due can run in 3° rail from GCT to near new rochelle and with catenary from New Rochelle to New Haven, but has like what I said before M8 are only MNRR, that for who wasn't sure about that :)
