Wouldn't get much out of the 170, apart from between Sheffield and Meadowhall. Usually they run fast from Doncaster to Meadowhall via Conisbrough, though could be playable between Sheffield and Meadowhall.
I honestly don’t think this route would ever happen unfortunately. Could be wrong, but I imagine that if these routes ever did make it to TSW, they would be split into two routes rather than one.
Personally if we were to receive some form of Sheffield to Leeds Route, I would rather it include the line via Wakefield Westgate, Moorthorpe & the Dearne Valley, and the line via Kirkgate & Barnsley. To me it makes more sense keeping the route focused on the two destinations with various routing options. In my opinion throwing the Doncaster route into the Sheffield route just seems completely random
I mainly wanted to include a lot of AI on this route, hence the 801 and the new rolling stock, the 331! But your points are completely valid!
Leeds-Doncaster is something I'd like to make but don't get your hopes up as I have never used the editor before and have no idea what I'm doing
