Overview I feel like the New York to Trenton route has a ton of missed potential. I feel like it could use an extension/enhancement. One of the things is an extension to Philadelphia. This would open the way to hundreds of new services, many of which being from SEPTA in the Philadelphia area. Another small expansion could be the addition of Hoboken Terminal where many NJ Transit services terminate and are stored. The whole route will be about 90 miles (144 kilometers). Rolling Stock ALP-45DP It looks and performs similarly to the ALP-46, but is a single cab, and can also run in diesel mode. Silverliner V One of the most common units on Septa’s fleet. They are formed in married pairs, similar to the M7 and M3. They also come with a handful of single cars that are put in between sets to form an odd number of cars during peak hours. Comet Coaches SEPTA uses older Comet 2 cars in tandem with ACS-64’s in SEPTA livery. NJ Transit uses Comet 4s and 5s. Conclusion I feel like this would greatly enhance this route. It has a lot of missing potential, and this could be a great way to utilize it!
It would be a good add on for the NEC Trenton-New York DLC if dovetail can get a License agreement with SEPTA.
Good idea like it,but wouldn't the whole route need to be redone "rebaked" so to speak,it's been extended ,redone once before, would it again that's the question? Unless it's a separate route DLC in it's self of course ,then that's a possibility I guess
It could possibly be a separate DLC but considering the amount of stops septa has to make and how they are kinda close together. It makes it look like a Light rail route and not more like a commuter service. But it is possible
I would hope that it’s a paid update or something, although they might make it a separate dlc like what they are doing with Long Island Railroad
