How do you drive this scenario without getting millions of PZB emegency stops? At start I can't get over 45 km/h and sometimes when the early signal is showing yellow I get a message like that it can't read the distance. I have been trying to turn off SIFA and PZB but it seems that is not possible. Anyone who have a solution how to be able to drive it without getting a lot of emegency stops?
I played it years ago so no direct memories, but I've done all scenarios, some with timeliness penalties. You must be missing something, or there would be millions of reports. Emergency stops are either triggered by Sifa (if you can't notice the little lights, just press it every 10 seconds, like in real life tapping with your foot) or Pzb. Freight trains are using the 70 kph Pzb choice, meaning if you encounter a yellow, you have to get to 70 fairly soon. Preferably, slow down in advance. Also, if you encounter a 500 Hz magnet on, you have to be at a lower speed as well. It's 65 for the 85 choice. Consult the manual or wikipedia for exact numbers. What I normally do with experience (and see from real life cab rides), drivers slow down as soon as they encounter a warning. If you are casual, you can slow gradually, e.g. keep brake notch 2 on. Depends on effort / weight of course. Other than that, what I typically failed: speed signs (8 and below should trigger Pzb, which is a bit silly with the 70 choice, also some routes have it wrong - ultimately, watch out for a little box near the rail) combined signals showing a warning aspect, particularly the 40-40 ones soft advance warnings, advance 60 is still green-yellow but 80 also requires acknowledging even though that's a green aspect. Also, was a bit surprising to me, but a permitted SPAD still has an active 2000 Hz signal, so you may not pass a red (+white) over 25kph anyway and you also have to keep pressing Del to tell the system that you're here, conscious and willingly passing at danger.
I have done all other scenarios with the 155 loco on Köln To Koblenz without any problems but it is All Change At Andernach I can't finish so there must be something wrong. I also read the instructions on Köln To Koblenz route for that loco and it should be possible to turn SIFA and PZB off but it seems that it is not possible.
You can normally turn the PZB off but because its a Career Scenario that would be cheating so DTG don't let you do it.
This might help. Admittedly didn't watch it, but I answered all clues you provided, so this might show a trick. The 45kph at the beginning is Pzb. You can remove that by pressing End if necessary. It's normal - when starting a train, it limits your speed so that you're less likely to blast through a red. Pzb indicates that state. For the old dashboard in the 155 I think it's when two numbers are flashing in an alternating fashion (70-85).
Ahojte, I have problém with 155 - 15 All chnage at Andermach too. So first is trafic singal - red vs dispatch - dangerous continue as talking in 14 (photo). Problém PZB - so red so stop vlak - PZB - stop train with penalization. Second is speed - 35, 45, 50 a většinou 70 (PZB). 70 - ok - so HZ 1000 Hz - activatio. the Third: I passing rout but score is 0 due to route
I'm having some trouble understanding your English, hopefully can help. When passing anything red, you should keep Pzb Override pushed. By default that's the Delete button (leftmost Pzb). Your speed shall not exceed 25 kph either. When Scenario is Incomplete, you usually missed an objective. With F1 task list open (like 09:30:33), you should be able to see an X instead of a check mark. It might also be the SPAD, since I see you have 1000 points. Also, go through the debrief screen, there should be some indication. Köln-Koblenz can be a bit steep, but just replay the scenario, you will figure it out. Also, I played all scenarios in sequence, giving me time to learn the ropes.
