So recently DTG posted images from 10AM UK Time To 12pm, a few of which are interesting. So I'm gonna delve into them Image 1 - 10:00AM BST So...first image, seems to be Cathcart Circle, with the 314, everything in this photo looks normal, however...if you look at the reflection...that's definitely not a 314, that is infact rumoured to be a class 380, the ScotRail Desiro is finally coming to TSW! And i believe that is the UK Loco seen in the roadmap, honestly, it's so great to finally have this in game, the 380 has a lot of potential for future ScotRail routes, and in terms of ScotRail traction, it's a must, good addition Image 2 - 11:00AM BST Image 2 seems to be a DOSTOS at a station somewhere, and that seems to be the only train there....or is it? If you look in the window reflection, you will see something that should have really been included with the 101, Yep, it's that's the IC Cabcar, which is better late than never, coming to TSW, for German Railfans this is a must have, that was unfortunately missed with the addition of the 101 for Hauptstreke Rhein Ruhr This Cabcar should fill the void for the 101 sandwich services seen in game. Pretty good, but really should have been included with the 101. And the 3rd Teaser, is honestly the best one, you can get the pink Matt Peddlesden headphones from Razer, woohoo. Anyway. Hold fire. Hasn’t actually been confirmed the 380 or the IC Cab Car is coming. This could well be an April fools. It would be nice if it does turn out to be true however.
As I said on the existing thread(s) on the same topic, I think that the 380 is a poor choice if it is the loco DLC, because it just isn't standout or, comparatively, highly requested. It will just be another modern commuter EMU in the game to add to our existing vast collection. It would be much better to be brought with a route and have a much more popular/requested/widespread loco/unit in the loco dlc personally. Also I would hold your horses on saying they are confirmed until it is officially confirmed.
The IC cab car seems likely but until it’s confirmed next week that shot could just be hiding a simple model a dev whipped up in the editor for April fools.
If someone created an entire IC Cabcar model for an April fools joke, that's a very very good April fools prank
I think DTG are rightly serious (helpfully so in this case) to the point they wouldn’t joke about a train or route coming unless it was very obviously a joke and something along the lines of Beijing to New York via the ocean A lie about the cab car, and they would probably be asking at that point for backlash with what many think of its absence already from the 101.
