The Blackpool route is set in the 1980s I believe. It would essentially require a large rebuild to bring the route to modern era, and that’s before you consider development of new stock
It doesn’t need updating to the modern day. That would take away a good amount of what makes it one of the very best routes in TSW. Tons of other more modern content to play in the game. Blackpool can remain in the glorious days of Pacers and blue locomotives.
Update isn’t the word, a modern version requires its own separate route and stock. Definitely not against the same routes in multiple different era’s (track, stock and scenery wise), in fact im very for that but there is other focuses what need to be balanced towards other route areas aswell.
