Can we have the ability to save logos as groups with Livery Editor? These could then be added to models by a simple click saving tonnes of time.

Can EMUs and DMUs be split up within Livery Editor rather than permanently group as a rake (usually with the cabs mirrored)? This would open up more options to make unusual liveries.

 

great questions, exactly the ones I have, getting pretty insane with the amount Xbox only issues not getting properly sorted, getting them acknowledged is all well and good but no solution nonetheless.

 

I would love to know what happend to the DB Br 232 developed by TSG. It was announced Dezember 2020 and since a long time we haven't heard anything about it. Is it still in development? Same goes for the DB Br 420. Thx

 

Can you explain the comment about TSG having "multiple teams"? I thought it was a one-man show consisting of Maik Goltz alone?

Why a 380 as the new loco instead of the many other requested ones?

On the fence about Expert mode, are DTG doing a PMDG and trying to squeeze more beans out of the customer for a few extra clickable knobs and buttons?

Will the DB BR 218 include scenarios for the Maintalbahn and Hamburg Lubeck, or will it only be in service mode?

Since the DB BR 218 will be coming in Hamburg Lubeck, are there plans to remaster the route with TOD4 features?

Will there be a DB BR 218 and IC Coaches formation?

 

Will the 218 layer or sub into Niddertal? IRL, they ran them during rush hour where the 628 didn't have enough capacity.

 

It's a tsg product, not a dtg product. It's also not just a few more clickable stuff

 

Niddertalbahn is set in the early 1990s. The 218 is in Deutsche Bahn red, as introduced in 1996. I feel like that answers that question.

 

Will the safety system scoring be fixed for the class 66 on the ECML and GOBLIN routes?

Late item from me:

Has any work been done to Cathcart in connection with introducing the 380? Specifically TOD4 and sorting the night lighting, in particular the stations which are in pitch blackness. This is by any reckoning a very old route and while it might be nice to get a new train (would have preferred a 303 or 320) at the least the route should get a makeover. Otherwise there is very little appeal to me personally buying another one handle modern EMU to run a stop/start bus service.

 

It said more details on timetables in future roadmaps and updates

 

1) Why set the LIRR2 timetable to 2021 rather than 2023 or 2024? It does mean that following features will likely be missing:
(a) Grand Central Madison (opened Jan 2023 with full service from Feb 2023) as a terminus (together with East Side Access)
(b) Third-track project between Floral Park and Hicksville (addition of third track, removal of grade crossings and station rebuilds - completed in 2022)
(c) Elmont station (between Queens Village and Bellerose on the Main Line - eastbound platform opened Nov 2021; westbound platform opened October 2022).

2) No mention whether Belmont Park, and the employee-only Hillside and Boland's Landing stations will be included (all three were part of original LIRR release).

3) If Gen8 consoles have a less intensive schedule due to performance limitations, why include Woodhaven abandoned station?

 

Well DTG still set the price I would imagine.

As to the rest, well if it's anything like PMDG aircraft all it will do is add a few extra and possibly irritating steps before you can start taxiing to the runway and get airborne.

And once again, you're sticking your beak into questions that are aimed at DTG to answer, not the resident yes man.

 

Why has Dovetail Games adapted a policy of selling previous DLC's such as the LIRR and DB BR 101 twice when this company has previously said on a number of occasions that you don't like selling dlc's twice hence the reason you hesitated on doing route extensions?

 

Will there be a remastering and/or extensions made (like the branch to paisley canal )to the existing Cathcart circle line to improve the class 380 experience?

 

Anything to share about the class 104 pack and peak forests timetable overhaul?

 

On the LIRR Commuter, will the distant scenery be updated to modern standards on the older parts of the route?

 

Will the 218 work with Dostos, and especially the Dosto cab car?

good morning/Afternoon/evening! I have a few questions for the main game as well as The upcoming release for Long Island Railroad.
question number one I have is well there be off the rails mode for free roam?
Question number two is actually on behalf of my Reddit community and a few social media platforms Which is well there be functionality for selecting wagon/trailers liveries from the creators club?
question number three also from the community is will we be able to spawn in on foot inside our created scenario from the scenario planner currently there's no functionality to do so…
My question now for the Long Island railroad is will we be able to use or get the MTA Logo for use inside Livery designer?
Will the PIS boards on the M7/M9 be working?
Are there going to be station and Or train announcements?
how many playable services for each of the trains coming along with the route M3 M7/M9?
Will there be third rail electrical sparks for each of the units feature on the route?

 

I see PC Editor improvements - after 2 roadmaps missing them - on the roadmap again, and set to be in the "To be confirmed" category.

What will be these improvements?
Are these improvements to the functionality or just bug fixes (which also would help but added functionality is better)?
Is there a way to suggest you some functionalities to add?

 

The roadmap article says it will layer into HBL and Maintalbahn. So unfortunately no.

Niddertalbahn is set in 1992, so 4 years of difference which is just a bit. And the exact years set also are only of rough importance for the era the route is set. I personally think it's a shame, that the BR 218 as a TSG diesel loco shouldn't run on a TSG diesel branch line just because of 4 years of difference.

So with the things said, I would like to ask DTG and TSG:
Is there a way to get the BR 218 layered into Niddertalbahn despite the 4 years difference?

 

Will rolling stock such as the Acela, ALP-46, and ACS-64 be static around sunny side yard and running in and out of NY Penn?

 

Will hamburg-lubeck be updated to tod4 with the 218

4 years from 1988 to 1992 is just a bit. 4 years from 1992 to 1996 is huge.

 

I sure hope not. A traffic red 218 on NID would be absolutely immersion-shattering. Either backdate the 218 or leave it.

 

When are we going to get an update for the many bugs/issues with the 801 Azuma?

1. Next station PIS in the cab and on the sides is always 1 station ahead of where you want to go.
2. The windscreen wiper is on the wrong side at start.
3. The wrong pantograph is up on the 9 car variants.
4. The DSD sounds if you stand up, even if you are in neutral.
5. The coach connecting cables aren't actually connected and clip out during corners.
