this is also quite useful doesnt explain lets say the difference between regular repeater signals and those with yellow border, but still useful

 

I was ready to rule that there were errors in the missing signs but instead it was me who, after a couple of years, hadn't remembered that the double green on the main signal tells us to reduce the speed to 60 km/h. Now I'm going to check a reduction from 80 to 70 just before entering the fast line. I don't seem to have seen any signal (triangles or aspects) that indicate this. I have to check better. Although at first glance the route seems very accurate even for driving without a HUD.

Purchased 5 hours ago from the Xbox Store. I also had time to unlock the achievement of driving 111.6 km with the Obb 1116. Try updating the Store. Found in Add-Ons (not Games)

 

Normaly traindrivers doesn't look outside via the window but via the mirrors on this loco! It will bring more fun if it will included for runs in yards etc....

 

There is no update available.

 

I don't have an X-box, but logging out and in again to the store might help if it is similar to other game stores.

I was currently on the hunt for the collectibles and I can say I found nothing game-breaking but some minor things, like the clocks at the train stations, are DB and not ÖBB, and there are so many kilometer signs which are positioned opposite therefore you can't see the kilometer you are at the moment ... Besides the route is very nice and lovely, I can only agree with your feedback dnv3 just would add first-class coaches would have been necessary too...

 

I mean, fair enough, but at such a curve is it any surprise it derailed?

 

it is an interesting experiment, to be sure, but whats the point? tell me, even in real life, if a train was going through such a curve at 220+ kmh, how it WOULDNT derail there ... I tested Taurus + 9 IC coaches in Training center, Kassel Wurzburg, Munchen Augsburg and Koln Aachen... the only place where it derailed was in Training Center cos of those curves... on those highspeed routes, despite the coaches being IRL designed for only 200 kmh, those consists didnt show any instability and did not derail

if you and that other guy who pointed this out want to experiment, go ahead, try this on Tharandter Rampe or some other curvy track and see where it derails... but still, it wont prove that the loco is bad, it will prove that most locos derail when going high speed on tracks that were not designed for that

 

ok, so I tried Main Spessart Bahn and Linke Rheinstrecke, y know, those tracks that have fairly nice speeds but a lot of curves that arent exactly made for drag racing... at MSB I derailed at 222 and on LFR I derailed at... 233 ... it proves absolutely nothing, but it was fun

update: I tried Tharandter Rampe, from Chemnitz, derailed at 180... on a section/curve designed for like 100 ... IRL you would fly off the track at probably 120-130 in that part lol

 

I will add to the list again right away, as I have noticed two points again, which of course I would like to add. And yes, I admit that the track is really one of the most beautiful that we have since the fourth generation of the game.

 

Why no ÖBB 1116 on Voralberg Available für EC and Freight Services DTG Alex ?

 

That is planned later down the line. They likely didn't have the time to do it considering it's not an easy piece is work

 

Was finally able to get it after returning home from Hamburg.

I it. My new TSW4 favorite! Besides of the already mentioned flaws (missing RJ, CJ livery, the missing "Südbahnhotel") it is great. I hope these flaws will be addressed soon.

 

Just gave it a go after getting it on sale last week. It's a nice little route! It's like most TSW rides and rather linear, but the Class 47 railtour was a neat changeup to the normal stock. (The 1116 is nice, but it's really just the same loco in different paint...familiar, but it's a bit like the Class 66 on UK routes. It's average but familiar) The scenery is very nice, and the long grades make for a different experience from many other flatter routes. As a freight player mostly, I can appreciate it for that too.
