Yeah I saw Zürich and automatically went yes.
I'd literally pre-order S-Bahn Zentralschweiz if they expanded it with the Re 460. Also fix the ETCS system.

Although I want to see the s bahn working better. I have not a lot of faith in rivet revisiting it. and with their flirt being the only stadler product I expect that stadler isn't too keen to be in TSW. so although it desperately needs an extension and more rolling stock. as voralberg is a core route it would be very cool to see it get the SEHS treatment and a second line from Buchs SG to St Margreten and the branch to feldkirch. the RJ would be cool to see there too. I think LGV is more forgotten and left to rot than any other DLC so I expect nothing french tbh. more swiss standard gauge would be very welcome though, as long as it's to a higher standard than FCL.

ah I wasn't aware. that gets my hopes up on seeing some KISS and maybe one day a Eurodual. I thought RRX sadly has some licensing issues but the german routes could do with a bit of colors to spice up the fleet of red

    1. For the people that voted for Zürich-Sursee, don't forget that this is a route by Rivet Games and not DTG. And I don't think Rivet would do an extension to that DLC. Also DTG wouldn't make one. Rather they would make a new route about the Zürich S-Bahn system on their own.

For example this one with the S9 is a nice suggestion. We would also have an airport and maybe finally some more departing and arriving planes again to see beside the railway. Yikes!

But I also would like to have one of the routes running along Lake Zürich

    2. S-Bahn Vorarlberg Extension, we talked about that several times in the forum. This was the biggest discussion about it since.

But in case you missed it, Matt has stated in one of the LIRR threads here (which was the beginning of the extension discussions) that they wouldn't like to remaster/extend a route that was just released about a year ago (which in case of S-Bahn Vorarlberg) is even less.

So unfortunately I don't think they would consider extending S-Bahn Vorarlberg as one of the next options they could extend.

    3. So as it seems, the only remaster/extension option of the ones listed that would make sense in DTG's own terms would be LGV Med. But I wonder how this could be remastered. I don't know much about french trains and routes. Maybe a little commuter line to some local towns would be nice.

it's possible the LGV Rhône-Alpes has a 115 km and 15 km in classic route with lyon perrache there are tgv services does Marseille-Lyon part dieu and tgv come from paris to lyon perrache can be added it's 4.4 km long between lyon perrache and lyon part dieu

Not sure I would have much use for a longer LGV route. Would rather if DTG decide to revisit France they do one of the classic routes with Corail stock, Riviera would be nice.

I don't often buy into foreign routes...

But one route I really enjoy is the TGV route, it is top notch to me. It really give a nice feel to a high speed train. I've never understood why DT have not expanded with further TGV routes in France. It also makes a difference then only having German ICE units for European high speed train... So yeah would be nice to see more TGV routes in the game.

Simple - TGV routes are *really* big, Marseille Avignon is an exception for its size. Just about any other TGV route is enormous.

Fair play. It's just such a decent route and locomotive, it's a shame not to utilise the TGV else where. Saying that though I enjoyed completing the TGV scenarios on SEHS. Was particularly nice being able to do full line speed of 186mph on the run from Ashford upto St Pancras.

I'm not an expert on French railways, but are there any TGV routes that are similar to Kassel-Würzburg where it would be possible to do long stretch? (Such as the tunneling and countryside).

not really true the north for example is 200 km long and 3,5 stations LGV est 100 km long between Reims and Paris est and only 3 stations

LGV Rhône-Alpes could be the best possible thing a expansion of the lgv med same that on TSC lyon perrache could be included not Exupery is more interesting the branch to perrache because there are tgv depot + tgv services to paris gare de lyon from perrache and the TGV duplex 200,réseau could be make more different services tgv réseau in real life run on TGV Marseille-Lille Europe, Brussels formation tgv duplex 200+ tgv réseau Tricourant

Nice,Marseille - Metz, nancy is with tgv réseau or pos brussels-lyon with tgv réseau too and pos or duplex 200 and in AI tgv Milano - paris at lyon part dieu

there are a lot of possible route but if dtg make a new lgv it could be for sure the lgv Rhône-Alpes is one of the most interesting maybe mgv to make in tsw and yes i know i suggest maybe 2 new trains and not one because the euroduplex are really different to the Duplex 200

Going to pick Zürich Hb Baden Sursee route offers more Swiss trains. However this requires the massive Rangierbahnhof Limmattal to be added since SBB Chemin du Fer Fédéraux Suisse ends Zürich bound freight there.
The Austrian route would make it four countries because the route to Buchs Kanton St Gallen actually serves Lichtenstein.
