    Hi Guys,

Does anybody else have this problem where the passenger light shows through the roof of the class 101 in TSW4? Does it happen in TSW3? The roof bleed through doesn't happen in Trans pennine or West Cornwall for some reason, but every other route.

    Thanks

It's known. There's a fix, but PC only.

This is a longstanding issue with the BR class 101 and has been around various iterations of TSW.
I believe it's the TVL one which has the issue.

Yes, use another 101 but not the TVL one. It only works on pre-TSW3 routes due to different lighting.

    What is the TVL one?

The one from Tees Valley Line.
I'm not 100% sure but I think it was the GWE version (Diesel Legends) of the 101 which has the bleeding lights.

Thanks, is that a Dovetail fix or did someone do some modding?

Yeah, I complete the trans pennine timetable for the class 101 and started to do the Tees Valley and it was WT...?

Been broken for almost 4 years, don’t expect it to be fixed anytime soon.

I recently contacted Dovetail about the fault with the class 101 passenger light problem and the reply was we already know and I didn't get the feeling they are in any rush to fix it, but there are new DLC's out to buy

Your feeling is not wrong, DTG doesn't care about old bugs. A similar bug also exists in some Dostos and has been known for almost 4 years. But apart from a few empty phrases, nothing more will happen.

Yes and no, I have had TSW since it went to console, but just didn't have the time to use it as much as I would like, now I am working my way through all the DLC timetables from early to now.

An issue for years tells me they either have no intention of fixing or they can't fix it.

Most of bugfixing must apparently be done by devs in their spare time, it seems there's no budget assigned to after sales service by the DTG higher ups. Software is sold as-is according to the EULA we all agree on when clicking "Purchase".

Yes, very true, but you also make a choice to buy or not to buy future products and how Dovetail support their current products will reflect in their sales.

Honestly DTG are aware that we are addicted. ;)
