Has anyone noticed on the numbering of the kuju swallow HST 2 things?; Firstly the numbering is not there on standard coaches. Its does not show even with a edit of a coach number. Second on the first class ones only the "e" is present, if you edit the number in the editor the "e" remains and the coach number does not update. Any ideas how to get rid of the "e" - minor annoyance as you can only see it if zoomed and when it passess slowly. Thank you in advance
The numbers do show on the Standard coaches but you need to add a letter in the editor The E should not appear and it looks to be left over from the Blue/Grey IC livery Add a number in the editor and the Black Prefix appears as per the buffet car
The numbering has to be in in the format of 6 digits. If you want rid of the E on the TFO you need to edit the coaches .GeoPcDx to point to a blank texture; or make the E texture blank, but that would also affect any coaches that might need an E to be prototypical. The E on the other coaches will disappear if you use a blank texture as the first digit, and if the numbers.bin file has been edited to recognise that blank texture. Peter...on your TFO coach, has the black E simply sat over the top of the white one?
Thank you both. Think i will go for layering over the top with just a "e" in front of the number in editer creating an extra "e" that is barely visual by the time it sits over the white E like Peter did. Thank you both
You'll probably have a texture that will do the job already; look for #.TgPcDx, or blank.TgPcDx (as examples) and if you find one copy it over to ..\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\Intercity_swallow\Class43\Textures and Then add it to the list of textures in ..\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\Intercity_swallow\Class43\Textures\HST_IC_Digits.bin Mine contains this section: <cNamedTextureSetBlueprint-sTextureEntry d:id="15183749"> <TextureName d:type="cDeltaString">#</TextureName> <TextureID d:type="cDeltaString">Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Diesel\HST\Intercity_swallow\Class43\Textures\[00]number_#</TextureID> </cNamedTextureSetBlueprint-sTextureEntry> To edit the GeoPcDx for the TFO you'd edit <TextureByName> <e d:type="cDeltaString">..\..\br_ic125\class43\textures\[00]number_e</e> </TextureByName> To point to wherever you had a suitable blank texture.
Thank you Gary. On a side note, when peter says add a letter to make the standard carriage numbers appear, if i wanted just numbers to appear on the standard carriage what is the code? I ask as i know for example on the class 221 headcode you have to remove the "#!" Before the number to for example "Ag" to make the display read "penzance" Is this the same process for the standard carriages on the swallow hst do they need a special character to activate them so they know that they can display as just a number with no letter in front?
You need a blank texture followed by 5 number textures, #41365 would work as long as you have a blank texture linked to the # symbol
