The next DLC for Train Sim World 4 is Israel Railways' 1st & old Alstom Push Pull trains these trains were introduced in 1996 and left Israel Railways' service in 2022. Please review this as a possible future DLC and consider bringing these trains into Train Sim World 4 so I can drive it in the game! Before I begin this proposal, I would like to make a disclaimer that I am not native to Israel, nor have I ever been, so there may be pieces of information throughout this proposal which may be slightly incorrect, as it has come from the internet. That being said, I have been really interested in the Israeli Rail Network for all the time, and have thoroughly enjoyed researching various aspects. It would introduce a brand new country to Train Sim World, along with old stock. The Stock: The rolling stock for this route would include both Israel Railways' 1st & old Alstom Push Pull trains which was introduced in 1996 and Siemens Viaggio Light which was introduced in 2009. As mentioned at the beginning of this post, I think this would be a great addition for Train Sim World, as it introduces a new country, a new signalling system to learn (possibly?) and includes a high frequency of commuter and regional services. Once again, despite an enjoyable & extensive research into Israel Railways from a personal interest, I would love to know what, if any, native Israeli players think about this suggestion.
I was going to say Israel is problematic right now and I don't think DTG will want to touch that can of worms
The line from Lod up to Jerusalem looks quite scenic from the map, but there is no way in heck anything in any part of the Middle East is appearing in a train sim. More chance of getting a Russian route! Or the wife buying me a Ferrari for Christmas…
If they hadn't cancelled steam, I'd rather have seen a 1920s-30s rendition of the Rafah-Haifa, (possibly with the Acre extension), stretch of the route connecting Suez to Damascus, going via Gaza, Lydda (Burial place of St George), and Tulkarem. There'd be the delightful curiosity of British-made 4-6-0 H and P class locomotives with the US-made bogie tenders.
There is going to be an oddity with these routes German and Austrian PZB with UK left track running. Israeli Railways Class 67/68 locos Baureihe 462 187s do count towards the original version in the UK and Germany mileage run
Spamming ideas is not going to win any favours with DTG or other forum members. And as already pointed out, the chances of a route from Israel or any other part of the Middle East ever appearing are zero. So let the idea rest, mate.
Repeat spamming is against the forum CoC, for one. And as you have been told already several times, DTG are not going to build a route for this train in a part of the world which is such a political hot potato at present.
Hi, i think this loco would be a success, because it's very suggested by me. from 1996-2022, Israel Railways operated it's 1st & old Alstom Push Pull trains on the Coastal Railway from Nahariya to Tel Aviv Savidor Center, on the railway from Lod to Be'er Sheva, on the railway from Anava to Modi'in and much more. There is one reason why this would be a great loco: -Dovetail doesn't have a partnership with Israel Railways
Not much point without a suitable route, which I'm sure has been pointed out to you before - or someone else asking for Israeli content - is never likely to happen given current political troubles in the Middle East. In fact I highly doubt any ME country likely to feature on DTG's agenda. Even if DTG were willing, can you imagine Israeli Railways giving free access to their trains and network for research purposes? I think not!
Good morning everyone, I went ahead and merged the multiple suggestions made for the same topic by this user. ItayLevy2001 While we appreciate your enthusiasm, please be aware that repeatedly posting the same thread is considered spamming and goes against our forum rules. Please keep this in mind for the future. All the best, Jan
