Can we expect working safety systems for the new San Bernardino line? Is any form of PTC (ATC/ACSES/CCB) involved or is it alerter only like AVL?

Are there any freight layers planned for the upcoming San Bernardino line?

 

LIRR 2.0 is sadly unplayable on Gen 8 consoles such as PS4 due to:
1) TSW4 crashing 99% of the time around Jamaica (both sides of station) in both journey and timetable modes.
2) an inability to complete Tier 1 of Mastery due to no yard moves in Gen 8 timetable mode.
Can DTG please provide an update as to when possible fixes will be implemented?

 

1.Is there a particular reason most of the content we have had for the UK recently has been modern? Is it the most popular type of content? Does it sell the best?

2. Does Rivet have progress to share on their Fife circle update?

 

Will the cathcart circle have more Ai than before on the route such as the class 385's or azumas at Glasgow Central?

 

Any update on the points not acknowledging the safety systems are set up on Blackpool & ECML

 

Can we get details on precisely what changes are being made to Fife Circe, along with a realistic ETA?

 

Will the upcoming 218 appear as static stock or AI movement at Lindau?

 

1.Can we get more details about the Class 380? And if possible, its release date?
2.Would Cathcart Circle get any additional layer beside Class 380?
3.Why Class 380 is chosed despite many players have required locomotive ( especially freight loco) for a long time?
4.Why there are so many modern UK contents recently, especially EMU, are they sell better or easier make?
5. Are there any plan to fix the bug in SBN and LIRR 2.0?
6. Would DTG introduce subscription method for TSW in future？

 

Much discussion in the forums about being unable to delete stuck trains in Journey mode. This is causing major issues with the revamped LIRR not to mention other routes where the AI is getting tangled up. As DTG seem to have elected not to respond to the particular questions in the relevant threads, can this please be acknowledged and added to the roadmap as well as being covered in the chat.

 

Any news regarding the few silenced community project devs (Folezz, Pilot21 etc.)? Assuming 3rd party applications went right, will we have news about their routes/trains coming to TSW officially soon?

Will the 3rd german route be revealed? In the first few roadmaps when the 6+ months section was still there there was another german route. We got Maintalbahn (1st), Rosenheim-Salzburg (2nd), and the 3rd? If I missed it being removed from the roadmap, then that's my bad.

At what price will the Expert DB Class 101 be set? I believe it will be infact more than a loco DLC, but hopefully not too high.

 

Are ATS still in contention as partners for TSW content, given there seems to be something of a cloud surrounding them as discussed in the recent TSC Class 745 thread?

 

How is Köln-Aachen new timetable coming along?
Any news on the obb 4024 getting a sound recording trip?
Will the BR 204 get more services in the future as new routes or timetable upgrades (as its been slightly forgotten about)
Any news on steam locos (steam simulation, getting injectors working and coal on the shovel)

Well, just don't turn them on if you don't want to. I'm guessing you're anxious because of the LIRR situation. That's the only route currently in the game with mandatory safety systems. The good thing is that ATC and ACSES are super friendly and easy to use and they add so much to the immersion and the fun factor that I'd be thrilled to see them or something equivalent in this route.

 

When will we get back the fast moving external camera for consoles. It's gone with the release of TSW4. Railfanning is nearly impossible now.

 

Same Q, but for the passenger camera. Having to get out of the drivers seat and move into the carriage now means we can't drive while sitting there. Sometimes was fun in TSW2020 to get the passenger view while leaving a station or arriving into a platform.

 

Also, maybe we could have a camera option that leaps to the next station in the direction of travel too

What's wrong with so much focus on Scotrail? let's be honest if anything uk comes in the game it's mostly English

 

You can say that's been lots of northern routes over southern or western roads recently. But 3 routes in Scotland overall, 6 north England, 2 western 4 southern routes the island line 2022 is counted as a loco add on.
Going off of the number of routes in the regions western is the area that hasn't had a focus of a while southern next.
We do need more Scotland routes but in the county side away from the cities.

 

Any update on the five second line And is there any update on the five circle line class 158

 

I would like to see on 4-6 months explanations on what is expected. Not just a uk route etc.

 

Most important question first:

1. Is the intention of the PC editor still that people can create their own routes and locos and export/cook them so that they can be shared e.g. via TrainSimCommunity for free? (As I´m also building a route I´m sometimes worried that I waste my time when it comes too "this was never intended...")
2. Are you (DTG or other third parties) thinking about more Austrian content or were the three routes all we can see from Austria? (I don´t need exact names, I just want to know if there is interest)
3. Are we getting an update for the Bmzs not selectable in formation designer?

 

What's the latest on the z-buffer issue blighting Xbox users?

Has a cause for it been found, and if so, is there an ETA on an upcoming patch to fix the issue?

 

John it’s Fife Circle and the Leven branch line is a free upgrade which will appear once Scot Rail complete development and the line is officially opened in about two months time. There is no news yet from Rivet regarding the upgrade but Jasper said recently that they are working hard on it. I just hope it’s authentic and not an amateurish production, that we normally get from Rivet. There may be some news tonight in the roadmap article.

 

How is the progress on
- hardly visible distant mountain scenery on Series X?
- Xbox Audio compression issue?
- Xbox Z-Fighting issue?

Without getting too much into discussion as Alex asked us to not discuss things in this thread - in the April roadmap 4-6 months category, there were 3 things in the UK. 2 were Scotland, and one just says Uk so could be anywhere including Scotland. I just like a bit of variety, and it seems there have been a majority Scotland releases recently when it comes to UK content. I get from your username you like Scotrail, and there is nothing wrong with Scotrail - just a bit of variety between released brands would be nice.

 

Can we have an option to turn off the music in scenarios please?

I ask this nearly every time (and always say "please") but I never get a response - why is this? If the answer is no, I wish you'd say so then I and others who want this won't have to keep asking, but it seems like such a simple fix which a number of people have requested ever since TSW 4 was released.

 

I mainly would like to know where Rivet are with the Fife Circle Update.

 

1 - In the last roadmap (April 2024), it was stated: "Additionally, our teams are looking into adding a small handful of ÖBB 1116 services to Vorarlberg, we’ll share more news when we’re ready to release these in an upcoming update". Is there any further update regarding this?

2 - According to the April 2024 roadmap, the BR 218 will feature on Hamburg-Lubeck and Maintalbahn. Will services for this loco add to both routes' existing timetables i.e. through more additional services to complement the 112 and 642, respectively etc, or alternately will there be new timetables altogether? Personally, in my opinion, I'd like to see the 218 add additional services to the current timetables for more variety and busyness.

3 - Currently, the Rosenheim-Salzburg dosto cab car still can't have either SIFA or PZB acknowledged by the 'B' button on the Xbox (Series X) controller. When is this ever going to be sorted, this should be a priority fix.

4 - Meanwhile, another issue regarding an Xbox controller issue is from the Semmeringbahn version of the 4024 Talent 1; specifically, with the Xbox (Series X) controller, you can't increase/decrease the cruise control speed. This is frustrating as this has never been a problem with the Vorarlberg version of the 4024. Can you please fix this issue please so the Semmeringbahn 4024 works the same as Vorarlberg, thanks.

Can we have an explanation as to what went wrong with steam and the lack of fixes and features with which PFR and SOS was released with. Because you keep advertising TSW with grand steam content on social media but the whole of steam is still "Borked" and the FS is still a mess.

If you're not going to create steam content can you at least fix the stuff that was released? The stuff we were promised at launch?

 

- Am I the only one to experience Mastery rewards not / rarely updating? (Xbox Series X)
- Will you improve passenger behaviour? Tired of driving empty trains and seeing passengers staying on the platforms without boarding.

 

Dtg explained many times in the past it's a huge beast of a system so don't expect it to come either never or a really long time. There just isn't enough data available publicly for them to work with and it's much more complicated than any of the other systems in tsw

When there's enough people on next gen which there isn't a lot of in tsw. If it still brings in money, they will still support it. Even call of duty still supports last Gen

 

They've said they won't be stopping it anytime soon

my one is easy for the roadmap last weeks update not this weeks have made the PC Steam edition of TSW4 Yuk Texture issues on side of the trains on the tracks and at station signs cant even pan the cam 5meters away and u can clear see the blurryness its never out all the years playing TSW look so bad so we need answers also when are we going to see a fix to the passengers that keep leaking onto the tracks and spinning around in and out of the doors on the london overground

 

and if they dont it will hold the game back big time we cant keep it simple we need to move forward not stay in the mess its in

 

I'm in agreement but it brings them extra revenue so they will continue with it
