It would be cool if it was Munich - Nuremberg for Train Sim World.

    • Route: München - Nürnberg
    • Length: about 164 kilometers
    • Train Services: RE,RB,ICE
    • Trains:Twindexx (Br 445), ICE 3 (Br 403,406), Br 102

nowadays the Nurnberg Express is mostly served by a weird consist made of MU/coaches and pulled/pushed by Vectron, because that MU doesnt have ETCS and Vectron does.. it might be IC coaches + IC cab car plus Vectron... because as cool as those Skoda trains are, the loco has a bad reputation in DB cos of frequent issues, which is leading towards its eventual pulling out of service in favor of more reliable trains/locos

dont get me wrong, I absolutely love the design of the loco and the special dostos, however, they dont conform to very strict DB standards (they were supposed to run on vmax 200, but only got certified for 190 because of reliability/brake issues)

route is great, offers both highspeed and regional stuff... one of my dream routes actually :)

Yes, it wouldn't be the same if there were Vectron with IC cars instead of the Skoda trains or both

As far as I know, there is already one ongoing project that specializes on this railway. (Nürnberg-Ingolstadt)

    That's not the reason.
DB Regio Oberbayern actually ordered it that way. Until 189 km/h it's not classified as high speed train. Only from 190 km/h which also means the train has to fullfill other requirements, according to TSI . DB Regio didn't want a HS Train on purpose.
