Why Are The Safety System Switches Always In The Wrong Cab On The Br 103?

Subject says it all. Every time I start a service on the DB BR 103, the SIFA, PZB and LZB switches are in the opposite cab from the one at the front of the train. And since there's no way to walk through the engine room, this requires me to get out of one cab and go into the other one, opening and closing four doors in the process. I play on PS5 so I have my analog stick look to be pretty insensitive -- if I don't do that it's hard to select switches and such -- so spinning around to open and close doors is pretty time-consuming. I often end up being late starting my service because it takes so long to start up the train with safety systems enabled.

Is there a reason why the switches are always in the wrong cab?

In fact, I'd really love a game option that would always enable safety systems on startup so I don't have to go find the switches. I always want to run with safety systems on so it's always just an extra hoop I have to jump through (that real drivers don't, since they're required to run with safety systems enabled.)

If its like that in real life that's probably why.

I agree though that we need an option to have them turned on without doing it ourselves.

I'd think it would be about 50/50 as to where the breaker panel is. Sometimes it'd be at the back of the loco with respect to the rest of the cars, sometimes it'd be at the front. From what I can tell, it's always at the back in game.
