Promised Features And Bug Fixes, When?

They're not there, but they were a selling point

 

I actually prefer knowing what you will buy over a season pass. Rush hour was a season pass setting higher expectations. With the TSW 3 and 4 releases you actually knew what you were buying instead of buying a promise of exceptional routes.

 

Greetings from msfs2020, not a single TSW addon was bought for last half year, few hours played on tsw for last few months. All my money goes to msfs planes and addons (still cheaper that dtg. I have whole world to fly with my study level planes. Msfs run almost perfect on xbox now (huge updates of the world and core features every month). Goodbye tsw....

 

Can see where you're coming from, TSW is just too frustrating. Due to my frugal lifestyle, I was able to purchase a lot of Armstrong Powerhouse content for TSC, which is still my #1 and an immortal simulator. The EPs they released have transformed the game totally to a quality level and stock variety not to be found in TSW, which for me still is TroubleShootingWorld.

 

Several are broken. LGV Marseilles doen't register miles driven; neither does Island Line 2022. MML seems to be having the same issue. Niddertal is dodgy about it but eventually clicks.

 

Same on PS4

 

Think the biggest difference was that Rush Hour 2 wasnt a new game (and not advertised or marked as such) so you were still on TSW2 even if you haven't got rush hour.

TSW5 would mean that I HAVE TO buys a "new game" or im not able to carry on with TSW because everything released afterwards, is locked behind a paywall.

Good if you like the package thats offered, but if not you have to pay for something you don't really want but have to purchase to not get behind.....

I know which Version i like more.

 

As a customer you can have either one or the other. Improved FPS or more passengers. You can’t have both. Increased passenger presence would only eat up memory and the frame rate. Simply answer to your question. The bug fixes aren’t here because DTG don’t want to break the game even further.

 

"Paywall" This still a thing? It is just a route you buy in a sale. Not to get over dramatic about having to buy 1 route you don't like to not be left behind. Are we kids with an allowance? I would prefer to have the same amount of sales they have on Steam on PSN but it also doesn't happen. It's a bummer but let's get real here what is the amount of money you need to pay to not be left behind? I don't watch the sales prices of the base pack so I don't know. But what was the cost of not staying behind with TSW4?

 

The correct price for bugfixes and promised features is £0.

 

From my customers perspective, yes i call it a "paywall". Its over exaggerated maybe but not dramatic

Thing is for me, if you really dont like the bundled offer why should you buy ? I would love to see that the "upgrade" can be done with following route releases aswell as they did with Birmingham Cross City. Anyway, lets see what DTG will offer end of this summer.

 

I wonder if DTG would be more inclined to patch content if it was pointed out that it is a very effective anti-piracy method...

 

While we're here pointing out bugs (instead of another TSW5-discusion), i hope a few things on Semmering will be fixed:
- No AI BR 193 spawning in timetable
- No Bmz livery designer repaints spawning in timetable
- No Bzm coaches available in the formations designer

 

Diesel locomotives are still bugged in free roam. The class 47 with passenger coaching stock (mk1’s) is just broken. After toggling from air to vacuum back to air the brakes release but cannot be reapplied.

After yesterday’s update I’m now not able to use the class 158 in free roam on the Goblin. Path is set, train is set up but brakes will not release. Brakes are saying released but brake pressure is still that of them being applied, applying power doesn’t remedy this and the train remains static.

I’ll test a few more diesels to see if this is the case for them all or just a select few.

Edit. Spawning the Class 142 Orange (1993+) in free roam results in not being able to open a local door and access the unit. I’ve done it a gazillion times. Unlock panel. Open panel. Local door open button. Door opens. Not today however.

Just tried the skipper variant. Same result. Can’t open local door to access train. HAHAHAHA it’s broken.
