    Part 1:
This suggestion is not going to be a route, it will be a website made by DTG. It will require an update for TSW4 on all platforms and TS Classic. It will be where you will be able to log in on your computer and link it to Playstation, Xbox, Steam, Epic Games etc. It will be where you are able to transfer TSW4 for free and the DLC as well to all your consoles, such as PS5, Xbox, PC, Steam Deck etc. This means you'll be able to play all your routes on other consoles and link your account to the console, just like in games like Fortnite. I have TSW4 on PS5, and this website will allow me to transfer TSW4 from PS5 to Xbox, Steam and Epic Games.

    Part 2:
Not only that, but you'll be able to link this website to both TSW4 and TS Classic through Steam, and it will allow you to link existing routes between the two games. For example, I own the LGV Marseille to Avignon on TSW4 but not on TS Classic, that means I will be able to get it for free on TS Classic. Same the other way round, so I own the Birmingham Cross City on TS Classic but not on TSW4, that means I will be able to get it on TSW4 for free. And I also own Peterborough - Doncaster on TSW4 and York - Peterborough on TS Classic, that way, I will be able to get £24.99 worth of Steam Vouchers.

    1. That won't work. If you buy it on PC, it stays on PC. If you buy it on Xbox, it stays on Xbox. You get to choose which platform to make your purchase on, then have to stick with it.

    2. TSW and TSC are two wholly different games. Also, you can't get one TSW route in TSC because the way the routes, despite being the same, are built different. Some TSW routes are also shorter (with less rolling stock) than their TSC counterparts, so they're not even the same.

Neither enhance the player experience in TSC or TSW, nor make any financial sense. All they seek to do is confuse and make everything more complicated than they have to be.

You are asking for the impossible.

Consoles and pc are very different from each other and you just can't transfer games between each other. That's how it works for every other game. They have different architecture and hardware. They are also competitors of each other. I don't think they would like it if you bought a game for 1 platform and shared it with another. It wouldn't even work anyway.

Tsc and tsw are completely different games. One is pc exclusive, one is not. They run on completely different engines and have completely different features (may seem the same, but they've still been built differently). Everything has to be rebuilt from the ground up for tsw plus brand new features like a timetable.

Or maybe, DTG can make their very own gaming website like Steam or Epic Games where you make an account and link it with other consoles. Just like Epic Games does with games like Fortnite and Fall Guys. But I very much doubt they're going to do that.

I think part 2 wouldn't necessarily happen because the routes are different qualities between the platform (depends when they were built etc.). I also don't think they would give vouchers. However, I like the idea of Part 1. A bit like how they give codes to transfer disks to digital variants, it would be good to have the option to transfer your content (albeit without progress) to another platform. The problem would be of course people selling their codes for downloading onto another platform. I'm caught in this kind of situation just now, whereby I feel like switching to PC because of the mods and timetable packs, but I don't want to as it would require me to repurchase my content so I'm kind of stuck on playstation.
