What do you have to do to get to the editor's console so that you can enter commands such as set time to day?

by default, on a US-style keyboard, you simply press the tilde (~) key, and the console box will open on the bottom of the screen. Not sure which key it would be outside of North America.

First of all, thanks for the tip. But unfortunately:
I have a European-style keyboard (QWERTY). I went through all the keys with "Alt" or "Ctrl" or "Ctrl+Alt" or normal and with Shift. Nothing had any effect.

Lukas explained it in the masterclass video about Tracks & Signals. Since he is german (same as me) and therefore we use a german keyboard layout by default, here is the technique he and I are using. In fact, I used this technique since years even before I worked with the Editor because sometimes I work with physical keyboards from anywhere else at the world.

In Windows, you can have several keyboard layouts installed and then you're be able to switch between these either per the keyboard shortcut (Windows key + Space) or just click on your keyboard layout icon in the tool bar (it's an acronym composed of a few letter for the language).

If you then went into the US or UK keyboard layout, you need to press the key which is top left on your keyboard (left from 1, and above Tab) and the console should open somewhere at the screen (In my case it's at the bottom).

However, if this process does not really suit you and it cost too much time to swap between keyboard layout, you also can assign the console to a different key in the Editor preferences, so that you can open it more easily via your current keyboard layout:

Thank you! That seemed to be the necessary fix with adding a keyboard layout and assigning a different key. The console window will now appear.
