The Pacific Surfliner is a Inter City Rail train ran by Amtrak. The LOSSAN section is 128 miles long from Los Angeles to San Diego. This is a fairly busy mainline with Metrolink, Coaster, and BNSF trains operating on this but BNSF would operate only 2 a day on this line. We should get the SC-44 Charger, Surfliner Coaches and Cab Cars, Coaster CEM Cabcars and coaches, Older Coaster Bombardier Cab cars, BNSF GP60/ GP60M, C44-9W, SD70ACE, ES44DC, ES44AC, ET44C4, SD70MAC, and the GP38-2. The Route would have 23 stations In total from LA to SD. The route would have 20 Surfliner services in total(10 North, 10 South), 46 Metrolink services( 14 are from IEOC line and 13 are from the Perris Valley Line.), 32 Coaster services, 7 stock moves, and 2 BNSF Freights, 15 BNSF Switching services. In total, there would be 122 services on the line which is about 14 days of playtime on this route. The whole playtime from LA-SD should be 2hrs, 54 mins. This would help keep players busy for a while. Pricing should be $35 considering how much new stuff there is. The SC-44s use a Raised letter K5LA and the Surfliner Cabcars use Standard K5LA's. BNSF uses K3LA's, K5HL's and K5LLA's. You guys already know The Metrolink horns. Other things to while making the timetable is to make Perris Valley line trains to end the service at Fullerton because it would only just go in to riverside. Make the IEOC line start at Orange because this is where the line meets the corridor. Surfliner cabcar horn. SC-44 horn

This route is needed in TSW4. I would buy the LA-San Diego Pacific Surfliner Route, especially if it includes BNSF locomotives. I would want the ET44C4 or C44-9W and GP60/GP60M(-3) for BNSF trains, the SC-44 Charger and Surfliner Coaches and Cab Car (also Superliners run on this route with the Surfliner trains), and the Coaster Charger, Coaches and Cab Car. DLCs could include the P42DC Genesis (a loco that has been highly requested in game).

If they add this line they should add it with the old F59PHs for the MetroLink and the F59PHIs for the Surfliner as well as MetroLink which idk why they haven't done that to begin with but IMO they looked better then the Chargers plus the F59PHIs are still the face of the PS route so it would be a nice call back to the better times.

That's not gonna happen. One thing that DTG really makes clear is they won't try to make a locomotive they don't have good or any references for, especially if they have access to other equipment. When they traveled to LA for Antelope Valley, they also stopped by the Amtrak yard and there is pictures of them getting references of the Chargers. Amtrak nor Metrolink operate the F59PHI anymore, and the only operation they could even do that with to get references is Amtrak California in Oakland, since Metra is a no go currently in Chicago.

No the MetroLink in Chicago runs the F59PHI that's where most of the Amfleet 59s went, and they have the 59s in regular Train sim plus I very much dislike the chargers they're just ugly and no one likes them

Doesn't matter what you like, if DTG can't get any reference materials for the F59PH or F59PHI's its not gonna happen, especially since they already have references for the Chargers. TSC doesn't count.

One other note is DTG doesn't add more that 1 new loco per route, and Amtrak Surfliner needs a loco for this route to work, so again, no F59PH would come by default.
